Ninth Miss, unlike usual when she chats and laughs with Zi Su, instead looked at her earnestly, offering consolation.
"A lifetime of regret?"
Zi Su repeated.
"Do you know? People always complain to the heavens about why time can't be turned back, yet they never reflect on themselves, on why they made such decisions in the first place. You know? Life is short, you can live for yourself."
Ninth Miss sighed softly, speaking lightly.
"Hmm..."
Zi Su nodded thoughtfully, entering deep contemplation.
Ninth Miss saw Zi Su finally begin to ponder and stopped speaking, "Zi Su, what is your answer? You surely don't want to stay here till death, do you?"
"Death?" Zi Su blankly uttered.
Then, like a fire under her feet, she quickly stood up, leaving a sentence behind, "Ninth Miss! Help me tell Madam, I must head to the eastern hilltop, there's a tunnel there, with many explosives buried!"
Upon hearing this, Ninth Miss's complexion changed!
