(At the office)
"Brown it is. We have concluded that we are going for brown this season," I said after my staff and I had agreed to go with brown, with a touch of another colour this season.
"I would order it and get more manicures for the designers," Amanda said.
"Please do," I responded, flipping my hair to the other side since it was disturbing.
"I talked with a few people to model for our brand at the next fashion show, and I got six of them," one of the staff said.
"That's a nice start. Would we meet this month's budget if we pay them?" I asked.
"Yes, president, we would still have enough to keep," another staff member responded.
"Good, that's it for today," I said.
"Miss Debbie, there is good news I would like to share," one of my female staff members said.
"What's that, Sandra?" I asked.
"I will be getting married next Saturday," she said.
"Wow! That's nice, Sandra. Congrats to you," I said, happy, and everyone congratulated her, too.
"We will all be there to celebrate you," I told her.
"Thank you, boss," she responded, happy, before we exited the meeting room.
"How was the drive last night? Someone must have wet her pants," Amanda teased.
"Shut up, Amanda. You are such a baddie," I said with a grin.
"Look at that grin. Did you enjoy the presence of your new crush?" she asked.
"I nearly lost my breath," I responded.
"Do you like him?" she asked me.
"I haven't felt this way before. I guess I like him and want to know him better," I responded.
