Mo Beichen glanced at her but did not speak, and Buhui did not pursue the matter further. The road ahead finally cleared up, and by the time she saw the scenery shift from bustling to desolate, the car had already left the city.
Buhui turned to look at Mo Beichen, feeling a bit uneasy, and asked, "Mo, where are we going now?"
Mo Beichen closed his eyes for a nap, as if he hadn't heard Buhui's question. Buhui thought to herself that they were leaving the city at this hour, not knowing where they were headed and whether they could make it back by night.
If they couldn't make it back, they would have to stay outside overnight, which would be awkward for them.
But Mo Beichen played dead, and the driver refused to tell her the destination. Her heart hung in the air, as she overthought all the way until the car stopped. In the distance, the mountain lined with tombstones stood ominously in the evening's twilight.
Mo Beichen opened his eyes, "Get out."
