As Cheng Xiao and Su Li entered their department, many heads turned to look at Cheng Xiao supporting Su Li in walking.
"Su Li, are you fine?" One colleague asked and many of them looked in anticipation of waiting her answer.
"Yes, I just sprained my ankle, and it hurts to move." Su Li replied.
Luckily, she wore flat shoes, otherwise it would be hard to explain.
"Shouldn't you go see a doctor?" Another one asked.
"It is fine really; it will heal in two days. Besides we have a huge order, I can't afford to stay at home." Su Li said.
"Oh, Su Li you are the best." Someone said.
"Even when she can barely even walk, she still came to work, what a true jewelry designer." Another said.
Cheng Xiao helped Su Li to her seat and went to sit on her own. Someone entered the office holdings cups of coffee; she walked to where Cheng Xiao and Su Li sat and placed a cup for each of them.
"I thought you guys might need this." She said.
"Thank you so much you have no idea." Su Li said taking the cup and brought it to her lips and took a sip.
"You are a life saver." Cheng Xiao said drinking her own.
Since this weekend was the weekend where she would go to meet Xu Kai's family, not that it was her choice to go. She had refused so many times, but Xu Kai said he would drag her there if needed to. She didn't want to encounter him in the morning so she left early while he was still asleep.
It all came down to this week, where her fate would be decided, if she would be free or stay with him. If his grandfather didn't like her, she was going to ask him in helping her divorce Xu Kai, but if he did accept her what was she to do.
'COME TO MY OFFICE!' The message read, Cheng Xiao stared at the words thinking whether to go or not.
'I AM BUSY!' Cheng Xiao texted back.
'IF YOU DON'T COME HERE, I WILL COME THERE.' Xu Kai responded.
