Cheng Xiao and Shen Mu helped Su Li to the cafeteria to have their lunch. Su Li sat down and ignored the stares she was having, luckily, she wore a scarf around her neck, otherwise people would have more to say if they were to see the marks around her neck.
"Thank you." Su Li said as she sat down.
"No biggie!" Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao said at the same time.
"What would you like to eat?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"Something spicy." Su Li replied.
"Read my mind." Cheng Xiao said with a smile for she was craving something spicy as well.
"I guess we are going for spicy today." Shen Mu said.
Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao went to get the food leaving her alone, she received a message from Jiang Cheng which she initially wanted to ignore. He was the sole reason why she was in this state in the first place.
Cheng Xiao and Shen Mu returned with the food, Shen Mu Su Li her food and they both sat down.
"Why do you keep staring at your phone?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"Jiang Cheng!" Su Li replied.
The phone started to ring again. "Aren't you going to pick it up?" Shen Mu asked.
"He is the reason why I am like this today. I don't want to talk to him today." Su Li said.
"I am in so much pain, and I can't even take a sick leave, since we are so busy." Su Li added.
"What is it?" Su Li asked when she picked up the phone.
"Su Li!" Jiang Cheng whined.
"No, I am in so much pain, and it is all thanks to you." Su Li replied.
"But you were so tempting yesterday. Why didn't you take a sick leave?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"How could I? I have so much work and you want me to take a leave." Su Li raised her voice a bit.
"I am just worried." Jiang Cheng said softly.
"I can tell Xu Kai to give you a day off." Jiang Cheng added.
"I know that the two of you are best friends, but I believe I have made myself clear not to interfere with my work." Su Li scolded.
"If there is nothing else, I will hang up." Su Li said.
"Oh, also don't bother picking me up today." Su Li said and hung up the phone.
The phone started to ring again but Su Li ignored it. She picked up her chopsticks and started to eat her food.
