Inside Mrs. Cheng's room, everyone had come to see her.
"How are you auntie?" Xu Xiyu asked.
"I am dear and yourself." Mrs. Cheng asked.
"I am fine." Xu Xiyu replied.
"You guys didn't have to come." Mrs. Cheng said.
"What are you saying? How could we not come?" Xu Xiaoli said.
"We are all one family, saying words like that will hurt our feelings." Xu Xiaoli added.
"Cheng Xiao is like a sister to us which makes you our mother as well." Xu Xiyu finished the words her sister wanted to say.
"Okay, I am sorry for my words." Mrs. Cheng said.
In the room it was Xu Xiyu, Xu Xiaoli, Hu Yinchen, Jiang Yanli and their parents.
"Yes, you need to get well." Mrs. Xu said, Mrs. Cheng nodded.
Cheng Xiao in the office plugged in her music and started working, whenever someone came with something Su Li would shake her head. Cheng Xiao was not in a good mood which was why she plugged music in so she would not snap at anyone.
"Are you okay now?" Su Li asked when Cheng Xiao removed the air pods
"I have to be strong for my mother; I don't know why this time around I am so emotional. When my mother first got the cancer seven years ago, I was not even thinking about anything. All I could think was to make money for the treatment." Cheng Xiao said.
"And now?" Su Li asked.
"He is taking care of everything." Cheng Xiao said.
"Did her treatment start?" Su Li asked.
"Not yet, the specialist will arrive tomorrow and then the treatment will begin." Cheng Xiao said.
"It will work out." Su Li said.
"She has beaten it before; she can do it again." Su Li said and Cheng Xiao gave her a weak smile.
