Ash, "Ruby."
Ruby turned to the dark haired teen then looked back, "Yes?"
Ash, "Everyone has been evacuated. We should probably leave too."
Ruby, "We should but something is up."
Ash, "You felt something is wrong too?"
Ruby, "Yeah, Lord Rayquaza is pissed but the other one feels desperate and seems to be ignoring the Lord of Space to search for something else."
Ash's eyes glowed blue, "That is a Deoxys and you are right, they are searching for something or maybe someone even."
Absol, "Sol absol ab."
Lucario, -Are you sure?-
Absol nodded, "Sol."
Ash, "What's wrong?"
Abra, -Meema, Absol says there is a way to solve this. Her instincts are guiding her somewhere.-
Ash, "Got it! Ruby, I will head out with Absol. If you plan on battling, please be careful."
Ruby, "Of course, but take Max and Molly with you though. Since you are going somewhere away from the battle area."
Ash, "May? Gou? What do you say?"
May, "Go! We will be fine."
Gou nodded, "Yeah, we will make sure their fight does not spread though I am not sure how to do that yet."
Ash, "Tory, do you wish to join me or stay?"
Tory looked at the ground then at the group, "I will join you. You never know if someone was left behind in the chaos. I have to make sure the citizens of my home City are completely evacuated."
Ash smirked, "Spoken like a Rescue worker. Alright then, let's get going! Ruby, May and Gou good luck and be very careful."
Gou smirked, "We will be fine."
May, "Max stay close to Ash no matter what, okay? You as well Molly."
Ruby, "We will be fine. Worse comes to worse, Orion and I will go Mega to defeat them."
Ash nodded and the left following Absol who barked as she led the way away from the broken stadium whose sky had become a battle ground for powerful beings. Max shuddered as he ran beside Molly and looked behind only once to see the angry Rayquaza attack the Deoxys with a very fast attack only for Deoxys to dodge. That only made the Legendary Emperor of the Sky roar with fury and fly after the tresspasser and Max felt slight pity for Deoxys but better them than him. A furious dragon is already terrifying, a furious Legendary dragon is an absolute nightmare, he would pray for Dexys and that's it. Molly ran beside Max refusing to look at the Sky as Absol led them through the broken City scape. She was scared though she did not get as scared when Jiraichi was involved. She ran after Ash while Tory was behind them keeping an eye out on the surroundings keeping an eye out for survivors.
Tory, "Are those Aurora lights?"
Ash, "Looks like it... Absol, are we heading to that lab over there?"
Absol nodded, "Sol!"
Tory, "That is where my Dad's assistant Yuko works most of the time."
Ash, "Alright! Let's go! We can rest a bit and find out what has Deoxys in a fritzy."
Max, "You think there is something inside the lab?"
Ash, "No, but they might have something to give us answers."
Tory, "One of the machines observe Deoxys habits. I think that might help us."
Ash nodded, "It will do... This place is a mess. I hope we can still enter the building."
Tory, "I have a pass, let me try."
Max, "Eh? You have?"
Tory nodded, "Yuko is basically like my older sister so, yeah I got a pass... It works!"
Molly, "So cool!"
Max nodded, "Yeah! You are really cool."
Tory turned red, "Thank you but let's save the praises till we solve this problem, okay?"
Max, "Okay!"
Molly, "Yeah, let's party together surviving later."
Ash, "You know this place best. Please lead the way."
Tory, "Come on, follow me then!"
Ash followed the blue haired team inside, 'The inside of the lab is still standing despite all the attacks and tremors that hit the City. Guess this place was built with disaster in mind.'
Tory, "Yuko, sis, are you in here?"
A voice came from ond of the larger rooms, "I am in here Tory. Do not worry I am fine."
Tory, "Yuko, you are okay. What a relief!"
Yuko, "I am alright. Your dad, Profesor Lund is on video by the way."
Tory, "You can call him Dad too."
Professor Lund, :Tory, are you alright? I tried to call you but could not reach you.:
Tory, "Dad, I am alright, I promise. I made friends and they are helping me out."
Absol approached a stone that was weird, "Sol ab absol."
Lucario, -Meema, this rock has the same aura as the Deoxys outside.-
Yuko, "What? But I received that rock from a meteor fall site."
Ash, "It must have been part of Deoxys nest or something then. Now, they want it back."
Lucario, -They are here!-
Ash looked at the screen where Deoxys appeared first in the night sky above and behind him the giant reptilian body of the Alpha Rayquaza followed. Max cursed while Molly grabbed Ash's hand for dear life as the Legendary Pokemon charged after the Mythical one towards them. The feeling was no different from watching a train charge towards you while you were stuck on the railway track for some reason. They saw the their group of friends rush towards them down the road and Ash could not help but be worried about what would happen next. It was a tense moment as Deoxys looked around for an entry but could not find one and then had to battle an angry green reptile who was really not happy. Ash decided on a plan and called for Ruby who asked him if he was alright first and where he was at the moment.
Ash, "We are alright. As for where we are, well... "
Ruby, :Ash, where are you exactly?:
Ash, "We are inside the lab. Absol found something that most likely belongs to the wild Deoxys. If we return it, Deoxys might leave but Rayquaza is making that difficult right now."
Ruby, :I will calm Lord Rayquaza down. You do what needs to be down.:
Ash, "Alright! It will not take long to return it, I promise. Just stay safe!"
May, :Ash, do not worry. We will have Ruby's back no matter what.:
Gou, :Just make sure you are careful.:
Ash, "I am not the one facing an angry Rayquaza, you guys. See you soon!"
Tory watched him place his phone down, "So, how are we doing this?"
Max, "We are not letting you go alone."
Molly nodded, "Yeah, we have your back."
Ash cooed internally though outside, "Thank you, let's go fix this mess."
Yuko, "Wait! Here, take these."
Tory, "Is this a detector?"
Yuko, "To detect Deoxys? Yes, yes, it is. Although, I have a feeling, they might come to you themselves. But better to be safe than sorry."
Ash, "Appreciated! Ten, let's go!"
Ash, Molly, Max and Tory went outside the lab and saw Ruby call Orion who flew after the older Rayquaza making the Elder glare at the younger. Ash could hear the growl reverberating through the sky, which honestly sent goosebumps through them. Truly, the power coming from the Legendary Pokemon was nothing to scoff at and Ash hoped Ruby and the rest can distract him. As they ran opposite of the Rayquazas, they were noticed by Deoxys who followed them across the sky as they noticed the familiar Aura. Ash stopped at a fair distance with his group trying to catch their breaths from running like the devil was on their heels. Ash noticed that Orion was refusing to let the larger Rayquaza leave by wrapping around them like a clingy snake noodle. Ash took a picture of the terrifying yet ridiculous scene in the sky and turned to Deoxys who was floating above them. Deoxys did not look angry just wary and perhaps worried about the stone Lucario was holding close.
Lucario, -This is yours, is it not?-
Deoxys, -Yessssss! Please return my half!-
Lucario stepped forward, -Of course, this is your belonging.-
Deoxys thanked them as he took the stone which turned out to be an egg turned into another Deoxys which looked completely different. Ash eyed the albino coloured Deoxys and requested to take some pictures which Lucario translated. The two Deoxys tilted their heads then circled around Ash who slowly took out his phone and briefly explained the function. Deoxys nodded and Ash took quick photos after which the two Mythical patted the teen's head and flew away just as Rayquaza got free from the strangle hug. The larger Rayquaza chased after the two Deoxys who left the planet at high speed making Orion huff out a complaint about uncultured and untrained brutes. Ruby patted his neck saying they had entire centuries to get used to it and to maybe train them himself once he was considered an adult in Rayquaza years. Orion grumbled to his trainer and Meema while May and Gou could only sigh in relief finally being able to breath for a change.
Ash, "They finally left."
Tory, "Oh my Mew!"
Molly, "I thought this time we will really not make it."
Max, "I know what you mean."
Yuko, "Are you all alright?"
Ash, "We are alive."
Tory, "We are fine, sis. Do not worry about us."
Yuko, "Your father is calling for you, Tory. He saw everything."
Tory nodded, "Ah! I will talk to him.", and took the phone from her, "Hey Dad, how are you?"
Ruby, "Ash!"
May, "Max!"
Gou, "Molly!"
Ash waved, "Hi, you guys okay?"
Ruby, "We are fine."
Gou checked on Molly, "You are shaking."
Molly, "You are too!"
May hugged her brother tight, "Thank Mew! Thank Diance! Thank Lugia! You are okay."
Diance shook in her pokeball, 'Do not invoke me so suddenly. But, i am glad everyone is okay.'
Lugia cooed inside his heal ball, 'It is over now.'
Ash, "Ruby, are you alright? You are pale."
Ruby, "I am alright. Orion was able to hold thr angry Sky Lord back and acted really coy to avoid making them angry. Turns out when a younger Pokemon uses charm against an older one, it works a bit."
Ash, "That is good. Damn, we are all shaking a lot, huh?"
Ruby, "I mean we faced Alpha Rayquaza, so it is not surprising. No one ever thinks of challenging any Alpha nilly willy. Even the smaller Pokemon that become Alphas are not really challenged normally."
Gou, "True that! Only Gym Leaders and above level go out of their way to challenge them."
May, "And the only way to have an Alpha is to pray one of your Pokemon awakens as one."
Ash stared at the morning rays, "It is morning already. We were running around whole night."
Max muttered, "Running, hiding and running again, you mean?"
May hummed, "So, what is going to happen to the City now?"
Ruby, "It is a huge mess, no doubt about it."
Gou, "I hear a but."
Ruby, "The base of the City was untouched and still strong. We can rebuild this City."
Ash, "Alright! We will help!"
Gou, "We will? How?"
Ash, "Call all the strong, psychic and ghost type Pokemon. I do not know if anyone was hit earlier but Ghost Pokemon can clear that for us."
Max, "What about us?"
Ash reached out to ruffle his hair, "We will figure it out."
Despite the shaky limbs, the group plus Tory and Yuko got up and headed to the lab and called their regional Professors for their Pokemon. Ash and Gou had to spend extra time calming their family members who had gone to the Professors when they lost contact with the group. Delia could only sigh as she looked at her son through the screen, aside from looking like he lost weight, he was unhurt. Ash assured her, he was fine and would be helping clean up some parts of the City before heading out in two days. Of course, he will have to schedule his online therapy meetings as well though he had this strong feeling his therapist needed their own therapy at this point. Ah well!
