"We're in great shape!" Su Luo said as he looked around at everyone during the intermission.
"It's all thanks to you, Captain, for carefully balancing training and relaxation," Lukaku said with a smile.
"Yes, it's important to have fun while playing, but it must never affect our regular training." Su Luo nodded.
Thanks to this nightclub outing, the players had a chance to relax and were able to quickly return to form under Su Luo's guidance.
This balance between training and entertainment truly reflects Su Luo's excellence as a captain.
He never allows the team's condition to drop just because of temporary joy,
nor does he overwork the players by pushing them 24/7 without rest.
Under Su Luo's careful planning, Chelsea's players were able to enjoy the party while still maintaining peak competitive condition.
This also filled everyone with confidence for the new season!
After a series of knockout victories, Chelsea reached the UEFA Champions League final, where they would face La Liga giants Real Madrid.
With superstars like Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Luka Modrić, Real Madrid had long been considered the strongest team in Europe.
To beat them and win the championship, Chelsea would need to give everything they had.
"We've come this far—this is the final step. We can't let our guard down!"
In the locker room, Captain Su Luo delivered an impassioned speech to rally his teammates.
Just before kickoff, Head Coach Antonio Conte gave his final tactical orders:
"Stay sharp! We're fighting to the death today!"
"For honor!" the entire team shouted together.
As the match began, Real Madrid launched wave after wave of fierce attacks.
By the end of the first half, Ronaldo had scored twice, and Real Madrid led Chelsea 2–0!
"My God! Things are looking grim for Chelsea!" the commentator said with concern.
"Guys, now's the time to unite!" Su Luo urged the team during the halftime break, trying to boost morale.
In the second half, Chelsea came back with incredible fighting spirit.
Neymar was the first to respond, slotting in Su Luo's through-ball and narrowing the score to 1–2.
Then, in the 70th minute, during a quick counterattack, Su Luo fired a powerful shot from outside the box—goal! Chelsea equalized 2–2!
"Yes! We're level!" Chelsea's players and coaching staff embraced each other in excitement.
However, neither side was able to score again during regular time. The match went into extra time.
In the first half of extra time, both sides battled back and forth in a deadlock. Though chances were created, neither team could find the net.
"We're heading into a penalty shootout!" the commentator announced nervously.
Sure enough, after two halves of extra time, the referee signaled that the winner would be decided by penalties.
"Believe in yourselves—we can do this!" Su Luo encouraged his teammates one last time before the shootout.
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois stepped up first.
He dove decisively to the top right corner—and saved Ronaldo's opening penalty!
"Fantastic save!" the Chelsea players cheered wildly.
Then both teams scored their next penalties, bringing the shootout to 4–4.
In the fifth round, Modrić's penalty was once again saved by Courtois—his second crucial stop!
"Incredible! Two saves!" the teammates roared in celebration!
Next up, Eden Hazard calmly slotted his shot into the net—Chelsea now led 5–4.
One more save, and they would be champions.
For Real Madrid's final kick, Gareth Bale stepped up. He had to score to keep Madrid's hopes alive.
Bale slowly backed up, then suddenly rushed forward and struck from a tricky angle—
Courtois read it perfectly and dove to the right—another save!
The score was sealed at 5–4!
Chelsea players swarmed Courtois, lifting him up in celebration.
He had made two game-winning saves and secured Chelsea's historic Champions League trophy!
"We are the champions!" everyone cried out, hugging each other in pure joy.
