Luan stepped away from the bed and walked over to the small table where a few papers lay. "What is this?" On the paper, there were only a few words written, and the pen was tossed beside it. This was the second letter I had been writing.
"Dear Luan… Dear?" Luan laughed. "Was this another letter for me? You really were desperate to see me, weren't you? I just received the first letter." He crumpled the paper.
Then he approached the bed again.
I crossed my legs and rested my hands on the bed as I looked at him. I looked up, and our eyes met. Luan smiled and said, "You don't need to send another letter. I'm here. Tell me whatever you want. After that, I'll decide whether I'll sleep with you tonight or not."
Hearing that come out of his mouth made me uncomfortable.
Who does he think he is to decide whether he'll sleep with me or not? Who could reject a goddess as beautiful as I am? Is he playing with me?
"You really are—"
"Hm?" Luan tilted his head, confused. "What were you going to say?"
"It's nothing. I just don't like the way you're talking. You're speaking as if sleeping with me were something difficult… like an obligation. Didn't you come here already decided to do it?"
"Well…" Luan thought for a moment and replied. "I admit I came here expecting to sleep with you, but I also came here to have some fun. It's funny to make you irritated. Just look at your face—so cute." Luan bent down, bringing his face closer to mine.
"Idiot."
"I know I'm an idiot," Luan said. "So tell me everything you want to say. I'm waiting. Start with how your interest in me began, how you found out I can impregnate goddesses… You said I was rushing things a bit and that we should talk first, didn't you? This is the moment. After that, you have a request to make."
"A request?" I tilted my head.
"Yes, a request. If you really want to sleep with me, you have to ask." Luan smiled mischievously.
Even though he had asked earlier if I wanted to sleep with him and had offered himself, now he wants to make me ask for it?
Is he doing this because I didn't accept immediately and said I wanted to talk first?

POV: Luan
Hearing my words, Freya was visibly uncomfortable. Even after writing all of that in the letter, she doesn't want to ask me to sleep with her face to face, looking me in the eyes. Of course, I'm just teasing.
I want to sleep with her. There's no way I'd refuse an opportunity like that.
But I also want to take advantage of this situation to understand how it came to this. How did she find out about my "ability" to impregnate goddesses? Did someone tell her? Was she spying on me?
I want to know how this happened.
I sat down beside her on the bed and waited.
Freya kept staring straight ahead without saying a word. After waiting for a while, I decided to say something. "What's wrong? You don't want to tell me how you found everything out? Were you spying on me?"
"…"
"I won't get mad over something like that. If you really were spying on me, that just means you're very interested in me. I like that."
Having someone like Freya watching you and obsessed with you could be quite frightening, but I don't think so. I'm strong enough to defend myself and can escape if necessary. The only problem would be if she attacked members of the Hestia Familia while I wasn't around.
But I don't think she ever even considered something like that.
"I wasn't spying on you. Actually, I only started following your steps not long ago. It's hard to find out anything when you stay inside the house all the time. You almost never go to the Dungeon."
"Then how did you find out that I can impregnate goddesses?"
"Hephaestus."
"Hephaestus?" Hearing that shocked me. What do you mean Freya is close to Hephaestus in this world? I can't believe it. "You're friends with Hephaestus? She told you about this?"
I knew that Hestia telling Hephaestus would bring bad consequences.
"No, that's not it. It was easy to keep an eye on what was happening around Hephaestus. Did you know that idiot is also obsessed with you?"
"Hephaestus is obsessed with me? But I've never met her in person."

Letters? I have never received a single letter from Hephaestus in my entire life.
Now I'm curious about what's written in all those letters.
"You don't seem to believe it," Freya said.
"Well, it's hard to picture Hephaestus writing letters about me while imagining herself pregnant with my child. I can't even imagine something like that. That goddess acting like this? Impossible."
"Why don't you try meeting her?"
What Freya is saying is true, since I have an ability that allows me to detect lies—even from gods.
And since it's all true, I need to think carefully before meeting Hephaestus.
She might end up becoming like Ishtar in the future—someone completely obsessed with me and capable of causing trouble.
Does Hestia know about all of this? She's friends with Hephaestus.
I need to ask her.
"So, satisfied with the information you received?"
"Even though it's hard to digest, I'm satisfied. Now, it's time for the request." I smiled mischievously at Freya.
