Chapter 36 - Betrayal fades as hope blooms anew.

Taesong knew the place where Hoseok was living, but he didn't know his room number. After he arrived at the building, he asked the front desk attendant for the room number. She thought he must have missed his big brother and had come alone to visit him, so she gave him the room number. Hoseok was very shocked to see him at his doorstep late at night. When he asked him what he wanted, he said he knew that he was his big brother and would rather live with him than stay with his hypocrite parents. At first, he was so against the idea of him staying with him; after all, he was only ten and Taesong was still four and sick. How was he going to take care of a kid when he was still a kid? Yes, he had a caretaker, but Taesong needed more attention than the caretaker could give him. He wanted to call his mom and tell her about Taesong, but Taesong threatened to run away if he did, so he let him stay the night. The following morning, he informed his mom about Taesong coming to his place. The moment his mom and the tycoon rushed to his place and got there, they started accusing him of kidnapping him to threaten them.

Hoseok was so furious that he did not have the energy to argue with them and told them to take their son and get lost. Taesong was angry seeing how his mom treated her own child just to please his dad. He tried to stand up for Hoseok and stop his parents from shouting at him, but his body gave in. He fainted, leaving everyone in a big shock. His dad and mom rushed him to the hospital. Seeing the little Sunah faint, Hoseok couldn't help but feel guilt about it. He ended up deciding to donate his bone marrow. After the surgery, they didn't care about him. They never visited or got him someone to take care of him. Only when Taesong started a hunger strike after they refused to let him visit him, did they go to see him. Seeing his own big brother he had always wished to have lying on the hospital bed, on oxygen support after he risked his life for him, he started to harbour resentment towards his parents. After Hoseok was discharged, he forced his parents to let him go live with him. Having to choose between letting him live with Hoseok or letting him die before their eyes, his parents had no choice but to agree.

At first, Hoseok refused to let him stay, but seeing how obedient he was and also that he had brought the people to take care of him, his heart felt at ease. Finally, after four years of being an orphan, he had a little brother who cared about him. Ever since that, Taesong drifted away from them and stayed with Hoseok. During holidays, whenever Hoseok came to visit, he would come with him. A few years passed, Wen Zhin and I lost our parents in a car accident planned by the Hexagonal gang. Hoseok was only 14 but decided to take a safety measure and start a tech business so that he could take care of me, Wen Zhin, and Sunah in case the Dracula Empire fell down. At the end, her own precious son became part of the mafia, and the one she abandoned became a well-known business tycoon whom her rich tycoon husband now looks up to.

The END.

Nah, just kidding. Where was I? Ummh… got it. Someone was busy drinking vinegar so early in the morning. Seeing him turn green with jealousy, I tried to change the mood. "How come you are with Lao Zhan?" I said, smiling nervously as I tried to ease the tension. "I was around the area for some business meeting so I decided to come and visit you. I was planning to come with Zha Zha but she said Lao Zhan was the one coming to pick you up so I hitched a ride with him." he said, shrugging slightly.

"And also, I wanted to tell you that I'm going to be a dad," he added, leaving me so shocked that I thought I misheard.
