"He stands 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing in at 199 pounds, he has a War Festival record of 119 wins and zero losses. It's "Fast"!!!"
"Now, fighting out of the Western corner, he stands 7 feet tall, weighing in at 405 pounds, he's making his War Festival debut, it's "The Fairy King!" Lars!!!!"
"He has a powerful aura, but I wonder if it'll be enough. Two of his compatriots have already been defeated. I wonder if he can turn things around." Hezikiah said.
"I'd say that he's the strongest of the Three Heroes. I guess we'll see if that's enough to win this match." Toro replied.
The match started with "Fast" using his trademark speed to blitz Lars with a barrage of strikes that were too fast to see. For the most part, it didn't seem like Lars made any attempts to defend himself. Though how could he defend himself against an opponent with such unmatched speed?
"What is Lars ability anyway?" Erik asked. "Not that it would even matter, he's too fast for him to even react to. This is bad it looks like another loss for us."
"His ability is called, Forest of the Fairy King. It allows him to manipulate plants with his aura. Though he can only manipulate plants that he's familiar with." Hezikiah explained.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me, that special ability totally stinks. There's no way he could win with a lame ability like that." Erik complained.
"I think that you'd be surprised." Toro said.
As "Fast" continued his relentless blitz on Lars, suddenly a small blue flower started to bloom on his shoulder.
"Huh? What is this?" "Fast" asked as he finally stopped moving so he could inspect the flower that was on his shoulder.
"It's a Orgia flower. It's a flower from the planet Turinia, it grows by absorbing aura. I released its seeds in the air when the fight started." Lars explained.
"Alright, an interesting trick, but it's not enough to have any effect on me!" "Fast " declared confidently.
He started to rush towards Lars again but suddenly he found himself unable to move. He looked down and saw that he was covered in roots that tethered him to the ground.
"Now your speed is completely useless. It doesn't matter how fast you can go if you can't move." Lars explained.
"I bet you think that you got me in trouble don't you? Well my ability is more than just speed." "Fast" said as he was able to free his hand enough to remove his eyepatch.
"Fast's" ability was not one that increased his speed. Rather it altered his opponent's perception of time to make it appear as if he was moving at blinding speed. Removing his eyepatch gave him the ability to alter time on an even greater scale.
As time progressed it didn't seem as if anything was happening. "Fast" continued to struggle as the roots continued to bind him more and more.
"What? I don't understand. Why isn't my ability activating?" "Fast" wondered as his ability failed to activate.
"Oh my apologies, I'd assumed that my explanation earlier was sufficient. That flower grows by absorbing your aura. Once a certain amount of aura has been absorbed you lose the capability to use your special ability." Lars explained.
A massive tree was now emerging behind Lars. Once the tree had fully emerged, a golden flower bloomed at the top of the tree.
"This is my Sunflower, it absorbs the energy of the surrounding stars." Lars said as the roots of the tree fused with his arm. "I can then use that power for my own attacks."
"Sunflower Burst!!!!"
Lars punched the immobilized "Fast" with the energy that his Sunflower absorbed. The impact from the attack was so powerful that it completely obliterated the ring and left only a massive crater in the middle of the arena.
"Whoa, that was some incredible power." Erik said.
"He was really impressive out there. I'd say that he was the strongest of the Three Heroes. He was probably even stronger than Gyouki too." Toro thought to himself.
With this victory, the. Vercheg Coalition had brought the score to 5-3 in favor of the Imperial fighters. Then next fight would be between Toro's little brother Coyote, vs one of the Empire's Four War Powers "Sword".
