Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: “Earth’s” True Name

"Introducing first, fighting out of the eastern corner! He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall! Weighing in at 300 pounds! He has a War Festival record of 130 wins and zero losses! He makes his return to the ring after a long retirement and has since been ducking it out in the political arena, he's the Minister of the Right! It's Ronb Bi!!!!"

"So that's the Minister of the Right's real name? Sounds really dumb if you ask me." Erik said coming back after his heroic victory.

"How strong is he supposed to be anyway? I don't sense a powerful aura coming from him." Toro said.

"I don't believe that he's that strong at all. I know he used to be a warrior but that was a very long time ago. I think that the Ministers only joined because they had assumed that the battle would be over by this time." Hezikiah said.

"Yeah, you're probably right." Toro responded, though he still couldn't shake the feeling that he was underestimating his opponents.

"Now introducing out of the western corner! He stands 8 feet 4 inches tall! Weighing in at 490 pounds! He had a War Festival record of 1300 wins and zero losses. It is "Earth"!"

"I do wonder why he still goes by "Earth". Why not go by his real name?" Toro wondered.

"It's hard to say. "Earth" has always been hesitant to speak about his past." Hezikiah said.

The fight began between "Earth" and his opponent and "Earth" made a move to finish the fight with one massive attack.

"Mountain Crash!!!!!"

A huge jagged rock wall rushed towards the Minister of the Right, and it seemed like he was crushed underneath the massive pile of rocks. Suddenly, the rocks disappeared into thin air.

"Many people forget because it's been centuries that me and my brother have taken the battlefield, but we used to be among the greatest warriors in the Empire." Ronb said as he returned with an attack of his own. "And our names from when we were warriors were "Space" and "Time"."

""Space" and "Time"? I've never heard of such warriors." Hezikiah said.

"Neither have I, but based on their names their powers must be formidable." Toro said.

As the battle raged on, the Minister seemed unable to be touched by "Earth's" attacks. On the other hand, he was able to land devastating attacks of his own. Therefore, the match was progressing in a way that clearly favored the Minister.

"It seems like it's almost impossible for him to even touch the Minister. It's not going to be easy for him to figure it out." Hezikiah said.

"That's true, but "Earth" is a skilled warrior. I'm confident that he will be able to find a way to win." Toro responded.

Despite Toro's confidence, "Earth" remained unable to turn the tide of the battle and the fight continued on as it had been. "Earth" had been beaten down and was lying in a pool of his own blood. It seemed as if his eventual defeat was certain.

"Why doesn't "Earth" go back to using his real name? We don't work for the Empire anymore so we can use our real names again. If he doesn't have a name he could just have someone make one up like Hikaru and Oscuro did." Erik had said sometime after they left the Empire.

"I'm not exactly sure but he seems to be adamant about not using his old name. "Earth" has always had a sordid past that he's never seemed interested in talking about. We should just leave it alone, if he wants to talk about it he can but we shouldn't pry." Hezikiah replied.

Back in the present: "You weren't so tough. I expected more from a man that used to be called the Tyrant." Ronb said as he stood over "Earth's" unresponsive body.

"The Tyrant? Wait a minute, he doesn't mean Temune the Tyrant does he?" Erik asked.

"Temune the Tyrant?" Toro asked. "I've never heard that name before."

"I'm not surprised, he was a prominent enemy of the Empire but he was supposed to have been defeated by Chihiro before the rest of us joined the 7 Elements. Though I don't understand why he would call "Earth" that." Hezikiah said.

15 years ago the former members of the 7 Elements challenged the champions of the planet Omori. Omori was known for its warrior culture exemplified by their leader Temune, a man known as the Tyrant he led an offensive that conquered many planets in his region.

When the Empire challenged the Omori King, he chose to accept their proposal for a War Festival. He insisted that he fight last and eagerly awaited his battle. Unfortunately for Temune, all of his men were slaughtered before he had gotten his chance to fight.

In his anger over his men's defeat, Temune single handedly slaughtered all of the former members of the 7 Elements that had fought. His power was formidable, but he was defeated by Chihiro, who was still known by the name "Lightning" at the time.

The Imperial High Command had declared that Omori should destroyed and all its people slaughtered or enslaved. Most of all they wanted the man who brazenly butchered the Imperial fighters executed and his body displayed in the Imperial capital.

However, the Imperial High Command was convinced not to kill this man but rather to add him to their ranks. That man would join the new 7 Elements and his name would be changed to "Earth".
