Somewhere in Africa.
High Priestess Momo, the Headmistress of Mahoutokoro School of Magic, walked next to Bellatrix Lestrange.
She was wearing her usual attire — a white kimono with royal purple stripes.
For so long, she had worn the golden robes, hiding her true nature behind that repulsive color.
Mahoutokoro was the most ancient of all Schools, with the least number of students among all. As such, the entire School lived by a certain Code that had been maintained for centuries.
One of those Codes was the color of the robes, which grew with the student, changing color as one gained experience.
The only time the School uniform became white was when one betrayed its Codes by practicing Dark Arts.
High Priestess Momo had considered the very Code a disgrace.
Why must she let a rotten Code dictate her path? Why must she let the texts of ancient fools dictate her powers? Why must she not do what she wanted when she was clearly the strongest of all?
These questions had been storming in her mind ever since she had graduated from the School.
It was then that she had met a man who had understood her.
A man who had not only understood her but had also agreed with her ideologies.
A man who had not only agreed with her but had also acknowledged her ambitions.
Voldemort, he had called himself.
Sadly, before she could contribute to his cause over a decade ago, he had suffered a terrible blow.
She had all but considered him dead, just like the rest of the world.
However, somewhere in her heart, she had also kept the hope that Voldemort — the man who had displayed powers that she had never even heard of — couldn't have died so easily.
So, when he returned, Momo had been the least surprised.
But times had taken a delicate turn, what with Lord Yellow Warlock, Lord Ekrizdis, and Lord Black Phoenix in the picture.
It had taken her time to reach out to the Dark Lord.
But after three years, she had finally done it.
Now, all she needed was to wait for the right moment to corrupt the Order of the Black Phoenix from within, paving the way for Lord Voldemort's grand assault.
Once they had decimated Hogwarts and Dumbledore, then they could turn their heads toward the Dark Alliance.
Momo, wielding her Priestess Staff with her wand embedded into it, let out a small smile as she thought of the grand future that awaited her.
"So fortunate and convenient, isn't it?" Bellatrix, eyeing her from the side, hissed. "I didn't hear your name once when the Dark Lord was waging war against the world years ago. It's like you didn't even exist. When he was gone, I didn't hear of you trying to search for him, either. Yet, here you are… at a very convenient time, when the Dark Lord has already become stronger than ever. How truly convenient…"
The small smile on Headmistress Momo's face flickered.
If she didn't understand one decision made by Voldemort, it was the decision to keep this unhinged woman by his side.
Bellatrix was a dog whose balls should have been cut a long time ago, Momo believed. Yet, here the lunatic was, baring her fangs and barking at anyone and everyone for no particular reason… always in heat.
Once she and Voldemort had claimed the world for themselves, Momo contemplated, she would need to find a way to add Bellatrix to the ranks of martyrs.
For now…
High Priestess Momo smiled.
"It isn't the time to bicker among ourselves, child," she said. "We need to show solidarity among the ranks of Death Eaters. Especially now, when all eyes will be upon us."
"… child?!" Bellatrix's eyes fumed.
But before the bitch could erupt again, Momo picked up the pace and reached the edge of the cliff a step ahead of her.
There it was.
The small world that would be fighting for her.
Roars. Growls. Shouts. Cries. And hisses of unfathomable nature.
They seemed to fill the entire world as Momo looked at the forces that had gathered under the cliff on the vast plain.
She saw Giants, Dragons, and Goblins among the Magical Creatures who were fed up with the Order of the Black Phoenix's hypocrisy.
Then there were Wizards and Witches who were still loyal to Voldemort, their numbers easily surpassing half a thousand, especially after the Dark Alliance had abandoned the rest of the world for North and South America.
Even if they weren't as loyal as the core group of Death Eaters, they would still lay down their lives for him… for her… for the cause, as long as they wanted a place in the world once they had won the war; a place in their world after she and Voldemort had won it for them.
For now, Momo needed to feed them hope as she fed on their thoughts.
There was magic in the air, the darkest of its kind, boiling in the atmosphere because of the gathering of all these people and Magical Beings.
Momo had learned to amplify her own powers using that magic a long time ago.
The world might consider her a Dark Witch because of that, but she considered herself a generational talent; a talent that would even surpass Darcie's if she just revealed it to the world, if she were to display a hint of its potential in the open.
Soon.
That time was coming soon.
Momo ignored Bellatrix as the insignificant witch smiled and shouted, rallying the Dark Lord's army.
What Voldemort's plaything said didn't matter.
These Wizards and Witches, and even the stupidest Magical Creature, knew who was their master here; who was the person Voldemort trusted the most.
"My Death Eaters…" Momo began, her voice echoing far and wide. "I…"
The High Priestess couldn't finish her words, her eyes narrowing toward the sky where ten blue points of light lingered just behind the thin black clouds.
Then, with an insane, incomprehensible display of speed, those points of light became streaks, leaving behind massive BOOMS as they landed on the vast plain beyond the Dark Lord's army.
Even from here, Momo could see those globes of light taking the shape of figures.
Ten figures…
… all standing in a row, towering like giants, and wearing blue armor.
