"Yeah, no. That was a rhetorical question." Azriel shot her down flatly, and she pouted adorably as he rose to his feet, massaging his face and blinking hard. He was half convinced he was dreaming, feeling as though he were slowly detaching from reality.
"I know this is a lot, but you must face the fact that this is your reality."
"My reality?" Azriel frowned, regarding her with open displeasure. "You just revealed to me that I have used [Redo] thousands of times, and that I am apparently always failing. No, that I am apparently always, willingly, using [Redo], a prison you gods created for me, just to save Celestina alone. And given that we are here, I have clearly been failing. What the hell am I even supposed to think about this?"
Crouching down and pressing his fingertips together, Azriel let out a long, exhausted sigh.
"...Why Celestina?"
