Lydia started drawing little circles on her leg as she diverted her gaze from the treats to the flowers at the side of the table.
'I want to eat in this place again though.'
'I didn't know they had a greenhouse this pretty.'
"Do you want to look around before we leave?" Qhah-el asked, so she turned to him.
'Of course I want to.'
'Most of the flowers here are new to me.'
"Yes, I would love to."
"Then do so," Qhah-el said. "I'll wait here."
Lydia blinked.
'Did I mishear that?'
'I don't think so.'
'Well… that's totally unexpected.'
Lydia diverted her gaze to the table.
'He talked like he was inviting me, but he's actually not planning to accompany me… haha, his brain sure works differently...'
'But at least the stroll won't be awkward if it's just me.'
Lydia stood.
Then she looked down to meet his gaze.
"Then I will be taking my time, Your Highness" she said before swiftly turning her back on him.
