Another man beside him hesitated for a moment before offering a theory. "Protector, perhaps they're afraid of our gambling house."

"Look, that old man has been losing money nonstop. It has to be deliberate. He's trying to use money to buy their safety."
Solitary Wolf's single eyebrow shot up. "Are you saying that kid got scared, so he found some old coot to try and apologize to us this way?"
