Five streaks of sword light tore through the sky, effortlessly slicing through the void before carving up the ground as if it were tofu. Under the crisscrossing beams of light, the targeted area was instantly diced into sixteen pieces.
BOOM!
A colossal creature erupted from the ground, unleashing a tidal wave of earth that shattered ancient trees and giant boulders. Amid the terrifying quake, it vanished without a trace.
The Sword Cultivators were completely stunned, having never anticipated such a turn of events. By the time they reacted, the creature was long gone. Some wanted to give chase.
"Come out!" a Sword Cultivator demanded with palpable killing intent, his eyes fixed on the crater where the beast had emerged.
