"Ugh…" Wei Lin fell to the ground in agony. Veins bulged on his forehead as he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.
"Second Senior Brother!" Seeing Wei Lin fall, Lin Feifei cried out from the side. She rushed toward Wei Lin, all while dodging enemy attacks.
Wei Lin lay motionless on the ground, his mind a complete blank. His eyelids felt heavy, and he could barely keep them from closing. Still, he fought to keep his eyes open. He could see Lin Feifei rushing toward him and worried deeply for her safety. Alas, his vision grew increasingly blurry and his eyelids became leaden. Finally, everything turned to pitch blackness. He could hold on no longer and collapsed into a pool of his own blood.
Witnessing this, Lin Feifei froze. In that brief moment of distraction, a heavy palm strike landed on her back.
