Luo Zhengnan groped twice on the dog's belly; the dog that had been bouncing around a moment ago suddenly stood there motionless.
This dog was a machine dog Luo Zhengnan had had an Outside Provinces Craftsman Cultivator make. It couldn't scout, couldn't fight, and couldn't carry luggage.
The only use of this dog was that it could attract Heavenly Light within a small area.
Bringing a dog that attracts Heavenly Light into Three-Head Fork—wasn't that just asking to die?
This dog's ability to attract Heavenly Light was extremely limited. With it as the center of a sphere of five meters radius, it could draw all the Heavenly Light within that sphere onto itself.
That meant the Heavenly Light that should have fallen on Luo Zhengnan would also fall on the dog. Its function wasn't much different from a lightning rod.
After sleeping a night, Luo Zhengnan touched the dog's belly again; the dog that had been motionless came back to life.
