Feng Huang was considered a regular at the Prince's Mansion, and he wasn't restricted in coming and going. He effortlessly found his way to the garden and was about to ask Steward Lawson if Joanna was available to see him, when Cassie lifted her skirt hem and ran over.
"Feng Huang. Why are you here?" Cassie asked excitedly. Perhaps because she was too excited, her otherwise plain face seemed especially spirited today.
"I've come to report back to the Princess Consort." Feng Huang stepped back, "How come Miss Cassie is out today?"
"Out to enjoy the sun." Cassie blinked and smiled innocently, "Summer is almost over, if I don't enjoy the sun now, it'll soon be winter."
