Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

(Arthur's POV)

(Dw was telling mom—A/N: Sorry, wrong FF.)

Knocking on the door of the address I got, I could hear an elderly voice and a younger voice talking, looking down. As the door opened, a little girl looked up at me with a confused face.

"Eleanor, what did I tell you about opening the door at every knock?" I heard a voice I could never forget. Look up. I could see my mother as she looked back at me, dropping a bowl that was in her hands.

Walking forward "Mom, I'm home," I said, smiling with tears swelling up. She ran up and hugged me, making me cry as she broke down in my arms. I then heard footstep behind me, and I could see dad as he ran in, jumping onto our hugging, crying pile After a bit, I could see a man walk in with long black hair, piercing orange eyes, a scar across his face, armor that defined his muscles very clearly and a spear on his back. He smiled a soft smile, looking at us.

After introduction, I learned that he is a friend and coworker with my friend, and his name is Carden Conter, and he has a son about my age. After a bit of talking, another family member ran in and told my father about me They then turned to me as I bowed and greeted them, thanking them for taking care of my family

After talking, dad asked me to spar after asking my core level when Carden asked if we wanted to use his own training area so we walked over since it was so closed we chose to walk opening the door a butler open saying his greeting as Carden told him why we were here we a sudden explosion rocked the building as glass shatter around us Carden ran as we followed the scared look on his face made me chase after him as soon we are all running behind he making it to the back of his building opening a door we could see a massive training area and from the look of it it is being used regularly and a boy with long black hair up in a pony tail and red eyes, in torn clothes showing off his athletic body standing dazed looking over at us.

Hearing a sigh of relief from Carden, I looked at him as his face turned from calm to angry very quickly as he walked up to the boy, smacking the back of his head, making his eyes clear up as they talked, and then he smiled at us as he waved a massive smile, a bit to wide. As he looked at me, I could feel that he was strong, but I could take him. When he looked at Sylvie, his sort of creepy smile widened even more. I did not even think a human could smile like that as Sylvie dipped her head into my arms.

(Charlie's POV)

"Okay so why are the Leywin's and the Helstea's family here?" I asked confusedly as I walked to sit down, as my ear were still ringing and my mana is almost drained.

They are going to do a sparring match and recommend our training room for this spar," Dad said, smiling as he sat next to me as I lean on him, resting my head I just got a massive head ache.

"Hmmm, okay, I will just watch. I am so tired," I said, yawning as I asked for a chair from the butler who came by.

Getting it and some more for the rest of the people here, Arthur and his father got into a battle stand; they then fought the outcome like Canon Arthur uses lightening and his father uses strong fire. After getting some rest, I kind of wanted to fight someone. I could feel a tap on my shoulder looking over it my father.

"You got a scary look on your face, son, are you okay?" Dad asked with a worried look.

"Yeah, I am fine, but looking at them fighting got my blood pumping. How about a spar with me, father?" I said, not noticing the smile growing on my face.

"Sorry, son, I was tired from work. How about the other day?" he said, looking away from me.

"Then how about a spar with me," Arthur asked smiling.

I gladly stood you and agreed Looking back, I could see Father looking worried. I wonder why Arthur Dragon started making weird noises as he tried to get away from his sister. Arthur looked at her she then calmed down As Arthur as stretched a bit, I put both hand into the shape of a gun.

"I will only be using a spell I have barely practiced," I said as I watched him go Supe—I mean, lightening mode.

"Okay, I will only use lightening," he said back as I waited for my dad, who said he would be refining our spar, to which we agreed.

"With the down swing of his hand, I fired, adding sound with my sound magic. I could see Arthur look scared before steeling himself as he dodged and shot forward at me, swinging no kick at me, which I barely dodged as Lightening bounced off my skin and put less mana into my finger. I shot a kind of wind ball at him as he was thrown backwards as he flipped and caught himself. I then put both hand in front of me as I charged mana "Wind Bullet Barrage," I yelled, giving him a heads up.

He dodges some, but a few hit him, making him flinch in pain. I put enough to mimic a BB gun in my last light so at night he will only have small bruises and some swelts. He then shot after me again, bouncing around me, but I use wind magic to keep track of his movements through wind vibrations. Behind, left, right, above, front, left, above, front. I shot forward as I felt the wind stop but I missed as he crouched and right in front of me, he swung up, hitting me in the chest I quickly covered my chest with mana as to block most of the punch, mainly the lightening mana I then jumped back as he followed. I then summoned many wind bullets behind me. He backed up, looking scared, but they suddenly disappeared as I ran out of mana to hold that many up as I fell on my knees with my hand up.

"Hu hu hu, I give up. You win, haaa," I said, a bit downcast but still happy.

"Damn, if you had more mana, I would have been done for. Let's do this again. That was so much fun," he said as he stood in front of me with his hand outstretched towards me, so I gladly took it and bounced back up.

"I am so glad you went easy on him." My father ran up to me as he checked my chest and whispered in my ear, to which I smiled at him.

(A/N: Bullshit ninjitsu)

"How could 6-7-year-old children fight like veteran enhancers? Also, how do they have there cores at this age?" Sir Helstea said, Shock.

"We're just built differently," I said as I went to sit down. My body hurts from using so much mana and that chest punch in the battle.

Looking at them, I could see a frown on Lilia's face. Now I just feel bad. I forgot that she wants to be a magician, and looking at kids a bit younger than her must be such degrading shit.

After questions and dinner in our house since it got dark and talking about the academy, I side with Arthur. I don't want to go just yet. He better not pull what he did with Arthur with me, I swear. Then they all went home. I took a shower and fell asleep for tomorrow.
