Mo Shiyan's courtyard remained silent until noon. A few servants gathered outside the courtyard gate, whispering amongst themselves.
"Miss An Yan is truly skilled, isn't she? It's only been one day, and she has Young Master Shiyan completely bewitched."
"Shameless! Xiaoxuan, go tell the Young Master to get up for lunch!" the slightly older maid, Sister Lin, ordered, her expression cold.
Xiaoxuan grumbled unwillingly, "I'm not going. The Young Master's temper isn't exactly pleasant. If I disturb him, will I even have this job anymore?"
"Then you go, Xiaohong!"
Xiaohong was new. She wanted to put up a brave front like Xiaoxuan and refuse, but Sister Lin had gotten her this job. If she didn't listen to Sister Lin, and Sister Lin said something bad to the supervisor, she might lose her position.
So, she reluctantly pushed open the courtyard gate and gently knocked on the room door. "Young Master, it's time for lunch!"
