"Maybe they wanted to use the ricochet to hit us with the needle?"

Someone holding a shield ran over. They saw that the needle, after bouncing off the trash can, was indeed heading in their direction.
Their expressions changed drastically, and they quickly pulled the trash can away.
"How does this woman's brain even work? She actually thought of such a method?"
"Good thing we discovered it early."
"Hurry and throw the trash can out! Check the corridor, and throw away all metallic objects."
"Alright, Brother Wang!"
Little Squirrel curled up inside a trash bag, thinking that once they started checking, it would dart out and run away. Unexpectedly, they didn't check at all and threw it out, trash bag and all, along with the trash can.
Little Squirrel: ...Did I just get through that easily?
The lights in the corridor suddenly went out.
