At a street corner closest to Zining Pavilion, Wufu set down Fengniang and slouched unceremoniously inside the carriage, clutching a large cushion.
"The Lady really trusts Fengniang, giving her such authority. I'm somewhat envious," Jadeite laughed.
Wufu slightly opened her eyes and said, "Oh? So, Jadeite wants power, and you'll manage all matters below?"
"No, I'd be worked to death!" Jadeite quickly waved her hand.
She wasn't Purple Jade; she wasn't really interested in business matters. If Wufu truly pressed everything onto her, being exhausted was one thing, but as a servant, that was her fate. What she feared most was incompetence, making a mess of things, and instead of helping, causing more trouble.
Wufu chuckled softly and sighed, "We don't have enough people to rely on. Those who can be cultivated should be cultivated. It's merely a Rouge Pavilion. If she does well, it's more income. Why not? Managing subordinates is all about trusting them."
