As Anthony paid for the rooms, he stepped into his own room, intending to relax, but before he could even close the door, the others barged in. How could they just go and rest or sleep like Anthony was planning to do? Their lives were on the line at the moment; they couldn't just act like nothing was happening here.
Seeing them enter, Anthony sighed as he shook his head. He turned from the door, walked towards the bed, and sat down. The others sat on the couch within the room. As it was a top-tier inn, it had enough couches for everyone to sit.
"Explain to us what is happening," Chaos Betroth spoke the moment she sat down. One moment, she had been teleported against her will as the Eternal Apexes were about to make a move; the next, she was back, and the Eternal Apexes had done nothing.
Anthony sighed as he spoke, "All I can say is, we are safe for now. This is the River Of Night Territory. Here, no other force can act carelessly." His tone was filled with intrigue.
