Anthony didn't care about his shock or fear; the man had made a move on his life, so he had to die. There was simply no way to survive after crossing him.
Anthony's hand moved towards his sheathed katana, but before he could draw it, Battlefield Paragon spoke in a desperate tone.
"Wait. If you spare me, I will tell you a secr—" Before he could even complete his words, his head left his neck as he felt the life in his eyes and body vanish.
Intense anger filled him as he died. He had been alive for over three hundred thousand years. He had spent most of that time at the peak of existence, trying to Transcend to the next Plane of Existence, and now he had been killed.
Before he could even curse, his entire consciousness vanished in totality. Anthony waved a hand as usual, Divine Flames coming alive once more as he burned the man out of existence.
