The array of paths was eventually left behind as he moved further. His legs weren't stopping; Qi surrounded him to peer through darkness in the squeezed way. "How long is it? Hah." He muttered with a sigh, vigilantly scrutinizing his surroundings for any unexpected attacks. It has passed more than an hour since he started navigating. "Feeling bored is the worst feeling here." He continued on the path. The path further became dominantly dark.
After covering nearly seven and a half miles, he arrived at the end of the path. With a serene emotion, he remained calm, travelling the long way; his Qi vanished, light replaced by torches. There were many almost realistic statues. Wearing capes, crowns, and tattered clothes, and some were even naked. All of them had dust accumulated on them. With a circular shield between their stomachs that occasionally emits an intermittent blue light
Suddenly, with a small, almost ungaugeable thud, "Who are you?" A voice resounded throughout the room, a familiar one. As he flipped his head around to check, he saw a face. Chu Cu had a stern expression on his face.
"Didn't you hear what senior brother said just now?" Han Shu's echo was like a buzz; Luo's heart was palpitating with tension. He couldn't move.
Shing!
Chu Cu pulled out his swords to fight; he moved with lightning pace, leaving no traces behind. Luo alone had no weapon, so he tried to dodge the attack; tilting his body alone was not enough.
Bang!
The sword strike was dodged, but after effect collided with Luo's left limbs, his Hand bleeded and leg couldn't move. "Hah! A weakling." Han Shu scoffed from behind, placing his hands on his forehead. His words were as sharp as sword tip, Luo gritted his teeths.
'Who told you to come behind them?' he thought to himself. 'Now they will mince my body.' His breathing was getting shallow. The sword again collided with his left hand, targeting his index finger. The finger no longer was attached to his hand.
Shriek!
Blood splattered all over his robes. "How was that now?" Han Shu mocked him again. Chu Cu stood there, red liquid dripping along the sharp edge of his sword.
Boom!
Suddenly, the cave began to rumble. Han Shu could no longer balance and fell on the ground. A wave of energy rippled through the entire room; the closer stone statues shattered into pieces, and a deafening roar tore apart Luo's heart and ears. All three placed their hands on their respective ears. They couldn't bear any longer. Chu Cu was still standing on his feet, barely!
"Again! "No, has the beast returned?" Said Han Shu, his eyes turned in a reaction of shock. The beast was terrifying enough to tear them into pieces.
Again a roar shattered their ear drums! Blood flowed from Luo's ears. "Ahhhh!" He growled in pain. "Shut up f*cker" Chu Cu slapped Luo's face, he immeadeatly ceased to scream. Due to slap Luo fell on ground, unconcious, the volume of the shriek increased, covering of hands no longer could block sound. The shriek ended in just few moments, blood splattered around Luo's face, he laid like a corpse on the ground of the cave.
Han Shu's both side of his face were covered in blood, he wailed with pain, his hands still on his ears. He no longer remember who he was. "Ah!" Chu Cu growled, he ears were in better condition than Han Shu's, merely a drop of blood had leaked. The power hierchy was clear, Sin Ein Luo was weakest, although possessed great potential, but what if a tiger fought an baby elephant.
The chances of survival would be negligible!
Luo's body was unconcious, unaware of everything.
The beast outside started to roar again! Startling both again. The sharp sound stopped within a few seconds; Chu Cu stood up and held his sword. He temporarily forgot about Luo.
He ran outside to escape, "What an eyesore!, this beast must be at it's end of lifespan and is growling for mourning for its death." Suddenly his gaze averted to lifeless looking Han shu, he was his fellow junior. He couldn't ignore him. Han shu was unconcious on the ground, beside Luo.
He observed for a while before picking up Han Shu. "Lucky bastard, if it weren't for the cave collapse, I would have slain you." He said as he lifted Han Shu. His Spirit Qi was extremely weak. The golden figure pulled out an array of rainbow-colored spirit qi, which began to heal Luo.
This happened in an instant, merely in a second.
Luo was healed completely; his finger returned as if it had never been slashed. His wounds cleared and disappeared; no blood soaked his ears, nor did he resemble a weak, injured pig. Instead, his face appeared more glowing and strangely attractive, and his spiritual energy began to recharge; in a few moments it brimmed to its peak state. But his form on the ground remained still.
He was weakened by the roar to his foundations; fatigue vanished, but his body refused.
Outside the large tree
Chu Cu carried Han Shu on his back with ease. His sword's hilt was covered in Shu's red-colored blood; Cu's face revealed a hasty expression as he saw the immensely large demon beast watching him with one eye open.
"What? I thought it was going to die!" He felt tremendous pressure from the demon beast. The nest protectors often die when their nest location is infiltrated; their death frees up the position of nest protector and new eggs crack to form a young beast. It was an ancient ritual performed in the nest protector's beast race from the previous million years!
"Damn it!" Chu cu gritted his teeth and began to flee from there. The collapse of the cave also stopped temporarily as the beast ceased its wish to die for his child.
Inside the cave, Luo's hand began to tremble. His eyes slowly and weakly opened. He felt his form; his hands and body were in perfect condition. "Ssi~" his voice box thrummed when he used both his hands to stand up. He was standing on the ground of the cave; the previously trembling cave was now as calm as Jade Buddha's divine virtue heart.
No sound penetrated his ear! He was currently at ease.
He felt his powerful body and spiritual energy or spirit qi.
He lifted his head and ran towards both the entrance and exit of the cave, where he felt powerful fluctuations; in the hustle, he almost forgot what happened earlier. "Phew!" He growled when he saw a ray of light piercing through the entrance.
Suddenly, a tiny golden form of his master materialized on his shoulder.
"Stop! Move forward and you will die in an instant!" He warned, his expression was stern, he was not joking, likely a certainty of danger.
Luo's foot stopped as if it were never to move. He pondered for a second before asking, "What happened, old man? Now" he shifted from master to old man, he liked it anyways.
"The beast is ahead, or what?" He again asked. "I sense an extremely divine artifact inside. However, it is dangerous to go inside. Outside, I sense two individuals fighting. That strongman from earlier and that bird! The bird seems to be at a loss!" He deduced when he closed his eyes and informed Luo.
The old man now seemed a hired spy for him. "Old man, have you recovered your divine sense?" He said. "A long time ago." He replied in his calm manner.
The fluctuations grew stronger and stronger from the fight outside.
