Nyxara clasped her hands together and sighed loud enough to be theatrical.
"After you so cruelly silenced me," she shot Quinlan a wounded look, "I complained. At length. With passion. You ignored me completely."

"Being ignored is very traumatic for a demon of my refinement. So I did the only thing left to me. I looked inward. That is when I noticed something curious."
She spread her arms and slowly turned in place.
"This," she grinned brightly, gesturing at the endless expanse, "is my home now."
Silence followed.
Quinlan frowned slightly. "Does it mean you became a resident like Mimi?"
The little blue lady couldn't leave his realm, being locked in place. She was unlike Rosie, who could traverse the realms at her will. Quinlan believed it to be the result of Mimi being created from the corpse of Serika's fallen sister; she became bound to the realm when she became what she is today.
