Not a single one of them even paid attention to his words. Their expressions looked almost bored.
And their aura was surprisingly calm. Alcuin may be ancient, and he may have thought power declined in the past hundreds of thousands of years.
But the standards of the primes remained the highest bar possible. And it has remained so, as far as he could tell.
"Well, this would be bad. I need to get out of here now." Thag was the thought that crossed his mind as he really assessed his situation and his predicament.
Alcuin had not fully awakened his own power. At least, it wasn't at peak. And his body was in worse state.
