She suspected it was possible but hadn't yet gotten any insights into it. With Spirit Eye, she could magnify a specific area or block it from her vision entirely. Magnification drained her quickly, while suppressing certain information reduced the strain of using the eye.
For instance, when she looked at the book with Spirit Eye, she saw a faint outline blocking the free flow of aerial mana.
If she magnified her vision to the extreme, she could discern sparse, faint golden flecks clinging to the sides of the book—it was the same for all the books in the library—but this phenomenon never occurred with other objects inside or outside of the library.
