Sector V had just received the kingdom-wide announcement, their watches beeping in alarm.
In one of the many opulent offices in Sector V's commercial district, the entire building was empty save for one man. Benjamin was one of the few authorized to stay in the office past working hours.
Benjamin was going through a report late at night when the device next to his desktop flared to life. A sharp blare cut through the stillness of the office, and the next thing he heard was the voice of the Ruler himself, heavy and solemn.
"The Duke of Sector V, Damatrius Vespera, has violated various laws by committing the following atrocities: harboring unregistered criminals and outsiders, production and distribution of dangerous substances, trafficking, and human experimentation. The entire Sector is, from this moment, under royal rule. Inhabitants of Sector V are advised to remain in their homes until the Duke has been apprehended. Failure to comply will be taken as an act of rebellion."
