"Sob, sob, sob—"
Just as the two were about to leave, the Crimson Big Bird suddenly murmured softly, slowly awakening. It opened its pair of beautiful large eyes, first showing a look of confusion, then snapping to clarity, letting out a loud cry as it prepared to flee into the distance.
Unfortunately, it was severely injured. It just managed to stand up before toppling over, flailing a few times, and then simply collapsed in mid-air, unable to move!
One of its wings was broken, its neck was misshapen, its spine had problems, and fresh blood was escaping from its head; the injuries were much worse than those of the Giant Metal Lifeform!
This was to be expected, after all, its strength was much weaker than the Giant Metal Lifeform!
"Damn it!"
The Crimson Big Bird cursed quietly, glanced back towards the direction of the Primordial Continent, a hint of urgency flashing in its eyes. It wanted to escape from here, to leave immediately, but now...
