Jia Xuan boarded the plane alone and found her seat with the guidance of the flight attendants.
Her seat was by the window.
Looking out at the scenery, she suddenly felt an emptiness, like a piece of her was missing because she couldn't see the one she loved, as if a piece of flesh had been cut away.
She bowed her head in sorrow, trying not to let her tears fall.
Passengers on the plane came and went, some even engaging in enthusiastic conversations, but she remained in her own world, unconcerned with anyone, her mind replaying the sweet moments she had shared with her husband over the days.
His scent still lingered on her, and she missed him dearly. Yes, even though she hadn't left yet, her thoughts were already surging like a tide.
At this moment, she heard a familiar voice, "Jia Xuan."
Jia Xuan looked up and saw Ruan Peifan standing by the aisle, smiling at her like sunshine.
