February 1496, Puerto Rico, Northern Coast, West Bay Tribe Ruins.
The twilight fell over the sea, reflecting a blood-red sunset. The broken Taino fishing boats floated by the shore, like dried logs several meters long. The fish ponds by the sea were still there, and in the distance the cassava fields remained lush and green. But the village of the West Bay Tribe was nothing but terrifying traces left after destruction.
Most of the huts in the village were burned and collapsed. The shell stone altars formerly dedicated to the Zemi God Card, which were everywhere, had been completely smashed. The largest ancestral house in the center was completely burned into ruins, leaving only a charred base and faintly exposed burnt remains.
