Although Tao Tian wouldn't make endless demands from Zhou Yuwen like Zheng Yanyan and Jiang Xinyi, her words showed that she also wanted a child. But Zhou Yuwen wasn't a god; having a child was about fate. Zhou Yuwen would certainly sow his seeds as he should, but whether or not they sprout is not within Zhou Yuwen's control.
So even though Tao Tian was eager for a child, Zhou Yuwen could only comfort her by saying to take it slow.
"After all, there's no one else in the country now. We'll take our time. Are you afraid I'll run away?" Zhou Yuwen patted Tao Tian's back, hugging her as he said this.
And Tao Tian replied, "Of course, I'm not afraid you'll run away."
"Actually, whether or not to have a child doesn't matter. On days like today, having you by my side is more important than anything."
Zhou Yuwen said, "Why do you think I like you the most?"
As he spoke, Zhou Yuwen gave Tao Tian a peck on the cheek.
Tao Tian contentedly fell asleep in Zhou Yuwen's arms.
