Back then, when he helped the Merfolk Race purge the power of the curse poison from their bloodlines, the reaction of the Talent Tree was just as intense. According to the feedback from the Merfolk Race, an ancestor of theirs had offended some great formidable being and was afflicted with a bloodline curse poison, forcing them to only live beneath the All Phenomena Ocean. Without the serendipitous encounter with Lu Ye, they might have never seen daylight again.
Aqiduo was not poisoned, her mana was pure, and her physical body solid. Her current condition was strikingly similar to that of the Merfolk Race back then.
"Is there anyone else in your family?" Lu Ye asked.
