Rochefort looked at the Crown Prince couple on the ceremonial platform and excitedly joined the crowd in waving and shouting, "May Jesus bless them!"
"Sir, would you like to buy some gifts for the Crown Prince?"
Rochefort heard a barely audible voice and looked down to see a little girl, about ten years old, holding a bouquet of flowers and looking at him.
"Gifts?" He blinked somewhat confusedly. Given his status, he was not qualified to give wedding gifts to the Crown Prince.
The little girl stood on tiptoe and pointed to the tall tower on the north side of Notre Dame: "Look, everyone is giving gifts and blessings to His Highness."
Only then did Rochefort notice that next to the tower was a small mound about six or seven meters square, mainly covered in flowers, mixed with many handicrafts, fruit, and ears of wheat.
