He Jiu opened his eyes and tiptoed out of the ventilation duct.
Using the noise from the airport's steam pendulum as cover, he restored the duct cover to its original position and lightly landed on the ground.
Quietly pushing open the door marked "Communal Bath (Female)," he pulled a wire from his hair and inserted it into the locker's keyhole in the changing room.
Once, twice, the locker door opened.
The sound of running water echoed from the bath, and through the curtain, a row of pale and soft feet could be seen, but aside from that, not a hint of noise.
The locker, as expected, contained only women's clothing, with spotless white undergarments neatly folded on the shelves, looking as if they had never been worn.
Clearly, this was not He Jiu's target for the trip.
On top of the locker, there were liquid canisters the size of No. 2 batteries, with colorful viscous liquids inside that gleamed eerily in the dim light.
