Victor's finger was still on the Canadian map, his eyes full of greed as if he were looking at a juicy piece of meat. Kennedy's concerns were practical, but obviously didn't completely dissuade him.
"Cherries are pretty soft too." Victor smacked his lips, as if already savoring Canada's resources.
The Defense Minister, Kennedy, who had been silent all along, finally could not hold back, "Sir, the front line is stretched too long. Our main forces are deeply entrenched in Indiana, and the logistical pressure is immense.
Most importantly, Texas and California, the places we've just taken, haven't been fully digested. Many people are still unwilling, and the covert 'rats' are constantly stirring trouble for us."
He paused, "Many people are advocating for an American restoration, wanting to bring back the American Dream."
It's no wonder.
