Yang Ming's mother returned to the Four Seasons Department Store, having completely forgotten about buying groceries.
As soon as she entered the shop, Yang Qiu asked, "Mom, didn't you go to buy groceries? Where are they?"
Yang Ming's mother finally realized she was empty-handed and said, "Look at me, so muddle-headed. I went out for a stroll and forgot. I'll go buy them now."
With that, she turned and went out the door.
Seeing this, Yang Qiu quickly followed, sensing that something wasn't quite right with her mother. Perhaps she's getting older and losing her memory; it's better to go together. "Mom, I'll go with you."
The two headed towards the market. There wasn't much to buy, just some oil, salt, sauce, and vinegar, or perhaps some meat.
As for vegetables, there were plenty in the home garden; every time they came back, they took some home, and it was enough for them to eat.
So, the two walked arm in arm to the market.
