Thinking this through, Xiaoxiao came to terms with it.
Initially, she thought about negotiating with Steward Qian, proposing that if she could get the Eldest Young Master to eat properly, she'd be relocated to work beside the Eldest Young Master and the Madam.
But after some thought, Xiaoxiao decided to abandon that plan.
One reason was her fear of arousing Steward Qian's suspicion; such a determined effort to stay in the residence and be close to the master would make anyone suspicious.
Another reason was her lack of absolute confidence.
So she only used this as a temporary measure, believing that as long as she remained in the residence, there would be opportunities to get closer to the master.
Now, she was serious.
She was determined to restore the Eldest Young Master's health.
Given that Xiaoxiao was tasked with preparing meals specifically for the Eldest Young Master, a difficult job, the people in the kitchen sympathized with her and didn't assign her any duties.
