Lady Zhang's hair was stained with a few tea leaves, her undergarments were soaking wet, her face was flushed with burns, and a few small blisters appeared sporadically. Looking quite embarrassed, she glanced at the situation in the room with indignation and exclaimed furiously, "Where is the doctor you mentioned? Where is he?"
The steward was pitiful, bowing his head and saying miserably, "The doctor was just here."
The madam's voice shot up by dozens of decibels: "You dog servant, just making things up, where is he? Where is he?"
The steward grimaced and said, "Madam, it's true, this servant didn't lie to you."
Then, the steward glanced at the maid beside Lady Zhang and said, "Madam doesn't believe me, you can ask your personal maid, this servant really didn't lie."
Lady Zhang glanced at her personal maid next to her and asked, "Is what the steward said true? Did I really do something out of line just now?"
