It was Xiao Jiu who had already flown out, but upon hearing their conversation, flew back and pecked him on the head with its sharp long beak.
Such a sharp bird beak pecking the head, one can imagine how painful that must be.
The guard was on the verge of tears, holding his aching head with one hand, feeling a big bump there, and looked up: "Birdy bro, I didn't say it, why are you pecking me?"
This little bird is the master of the War Prince's Mansion. It flies around the mansion idly, snooping for secrets. Apart from the Prince and Princess Consort, it's the most terrifying because it's the Princess Consort's pet, and nothing can be done about it; it has to be treated as the master.
"Don't care, don't care, who told you all to talk nonsense! I'm such an adorable bird, and you say I'm a ghost?"
Flapping around, Xiao Jiu didn't care about anything and flew down from mid-air, relentlessly pecking at them.
