Old Master Gu suddenly realized that this was what had happened; no wonder he couldn't reach the informant no matter what.
The Twenty-Ninth Aunt glanced at Old Master Gu and said mysteriously, "Old Master, they say you sent someone to bomb the Princess Consort of War Prince. Is it true or not?"
Old Master Gu didn't speak. It seemed that the War Prince and his wife had long known that the explosives incident was his doing. But why hadn't they retaliated against him? It was truly puzzling.
The Twenty-Ninth Aunt leaned her head closer and called out, "Old Master?"
Old Master Gu, deep in thought, absentmindedly responded, "Hmm?"
"Was the bombing of the Princess Consort of War Prince really your doing?" the Twenty-Ninth Aunt asked with a strange look.
Old Master Gu didn't catch it clearly and looked up to ask, "What? Say that again?"
