Hello Everyone, a new work has been started called "Surviving the Endless Sea" on my account. Please check it out.

Unscientific! This was completely, utterly unscientific! With the conclusion of the first match, John found what had transpired over the final two games entirely impossible to accept. How could such a metaphysical anomaly even exist? It defied all logic.
Afterward, throughout the top-eight and top-four rounds, nothing unexplainable occurred following John's commentary. Every play unfolded strictly step-by-step. His advanced analysis aligned seamlessly with the players' real-time execution on the field. Although he had accidentally created a dramatic comedic effect earlier, the cold, hard facts proved that John was no mere entertainer; he was a deeply knowledgeable, highly professional commentator.
From the draft selection of unit compositions to complex micro-operations, John broke down every nuance effortlessly. It wasn't just the viewing audience who were stunned; even the eliminated pro players stared up at him in sheer surprise. No one had expected a game designer like John to possess such a profound, high-level understanding of competitive play. After all, designing a game and playing it at a tournament level are two entirely different worlds.
His deep grasp of tactical setups and high-APM execution made one thing abundantly clear: as a game developer, John was undoubtedly a grandmaster of Warcraft.
Inside the live chat, fans marvelled at his technical expertise:
"At first, I thought Boss John was just messing around with his jinxes, but he's actually a legit pro commentator!"
"The micro details he pointed out were spot-on. I bet Boss John is a top-tier ladder player himself."
"Wait, didn't Boss John call out four players earlier as 'absolute lightweights'? Every single one of them made it into the top five!"
"Haha! I just realized, except for GOD, who reached the finals, the other got knocked out right after."
"Hold on, wasn't SKY one of the 'lightweights' John named too? How on earth did he reach the grand final?!"
While the viewers were busy piecing together odd coincidences, John was entirely unaware. Having successfully emerged from the shadow of his earlier embarrassing predictions, he now leaned back in his chair with total confidence and ease, chatting comfortably with Cooper beside him.
"On paper, SKY reaching the finals really slapped me in the face," John admitted smoothly. "Form-wise, though, I'm still leaning toward GOD. Looking at current player age, reaction time, and sheer mechanics, GOD clearly holds the edge over SKY."
Cooper nodded along in agreement. "Yeah, looking at the previous brackets, GOD's form has been downright dominant. Clean 2–0 sweeps all the way through, showing off why he's considered the terrifying number-one player on the Warcraft global ladder."
"It's an uphill battle," John continued his rational breakdown. "SKY made it to the grand final relying primarily on unorthodox tactics rather than raw mechanical output. Against those specific strategies, a veteran like GOD simply won't fall for the trap."
"You can tell GOD is operating at peak performance," John added with a sigh of admiration, watching the big-screen replay. "When he used Night Elves to surround and execute enemy heroes with wisp crosses, he was simultaneously expanding his secondary gold mine and macro-managing production back home. That hand speed is downright frightening."
Although SKY represented the home crowd and GOD hailed from South Korea, John personally rooted for SKY. Yet, as a professional commentator, he had to remain objective and stick to the facts. SKY's run to the finals had been a razor-thin tightrope walk, whereas GOD coasted through with an effortless, oppressive calm, as if asking his opponents, 'I haven't even tried yet, why did you drop?'
While John's analytical commentary was objective, a vocal portion of the live stream chat took immediate offense:
"What are you talking about?"
"Stop hyping up the opponent! Whose side are you on anyway?!"
Naturally, rational fans quickly clapped back in the chat:
"Come on, objectively speaking, SKY really trails GOD in raw mechanics. Would you rather he blindly hype SKY up only for him to get swept 3–0? Wouldn't that be way more embarrassing?"
"I want SKY to take the trophy too, but GOD is ridiculously strong. His mechanics live up to his ID, he's not playing like a human, he's playing like a god."
"Stop arguing. Just sit back and learn from a masterclass in RTS mechanics."
Amid the heated debate, the grand final of Warcraft officially kicked off. It was SKY versus GOD: Human versus Night Elf, the signature, strongest races for both contenders.
As the match loading screen cleared, John and Cooper resumed their play-by-play.
"Both sides are opting for a standard, non-confrontational opening," John observed, analyzing the mini-map. "You build your base; I build mine, quite a peaceful start."
Cooper added the color commentary: "Exactly. They're just creeping camps and leveling up their heroes step-by-step without committing to early harass."
"But SKY cannot afford a passive macro game against GOD!" John pointed out anxiously.
Even though SKY was ticking up quickly, GOD was blatantly faster. He wasn't just leading in supply; his tech tree was already an entire tier ahead.
After a few minutes of silent development, SKY launched the first major offensive. He pushed out with a neutral hero Beastmaster, a Human Archmage, and a neutral Dark Ranger, backed by a mid-game army composition of Priests, Sorceresses, Gryphon Riders, Dragonhawk Riders, and Flying Machines.
"Why would SKY choose a summon-heavy build?!" John let out an exasperated sigh. "That is an awful matchup against Night Elves! Every race's basic worker has a unique function: Human peasants become militia, Orc peons bunker up, Undead acolytes scout as ghosts, but Night Elf Wisps are the literal bane of summoned units! They cast Mana Burn! More importantly, SKY's army relies heavily on spellcaster buffs, and Wisps completely drain mana pools!"
Right as John finished his breakdown, the engagement ignited. As the aggressor, SKY pre-summoned his beasts and Water Elements to tank ahead of his Knights and caster backline.
"Look at this clash! GOD counterattacks! GOD detonates his Wisps! Right into the center! The Water Elements are wiped out, but the Quilbeasts and Skeleton Warriors survived the pulse! He might still pull this off!"
"Wait, three Mountain Giants step up to Taunt! Chimeras are raining down massive AOE damage from the back! Two more Mountain Giants join the fray while the Chimeras keep blasting! The Knights are down! Is GOD going to seal the deal right here?! Victory is in his hands! Those Mountain Giants and Chimeras are just too dominant! There's yet another Mountain Giant!"
John's commentary escalated into a rapid-fire, blood-pumping shoutcast until GOD's Chimeras and Mountain Giants suddenly collapsed and melted away. SKY's remaining summoned forces cleaned up the field, forcing GOD to decisively call out 'GG'.
John, who had just been pouring his heart into an energetic play-by-play, completely froze. "What just happened?! Is a summon-caster composition actually that viable against Night Elves?! Holy crap, what occurred there? The Wisp detonation missed the neutral summons and didn't burn any mana?! And the Chimeras couldn't focus on the Dragonhawks?! GOD had ten Wisps sitting idle back at his main base! Why didn't he pull them to detonate?! He pulled his mining Wisps instead! What on earth?!"
Staring at the layout inside GOD's base on the broadcast monitor, John was struck entirely speechless. How could a top-tier player make such an error? Beside him, Cooper sat in stunned silence, unable to utter a single word.
John covered his lower face with one hand, completely quiet for several long seconds. Finally, he let out a soft cough. "That... was an anomaly. It appears GOD simply committed a misclick. Even though his ID is GOD, he is, at the end of the day, still human. But hey, this is fantastic news for SKY!"
"Well, round two is underway; let's refocus our attention back to the game." Desperate to escape the awkward silence, John swiftly redirected the topic to the fresh loading screen.
"Boss John, are you still favoring GOD in this second round?" Cooper asked, trying his best to lighten the atmosphere.
"Even though SKY took the first game, I still favor GOD's overall chances," John asserted firmly, refusing to backtrack on his original assessment. "His micro mechanics are simply too brilliant."
While Cooper and John exchanged thoughts, SKY executed an extraordinarily daring strategy inside the game. He pulled three peasants from his main hall and marched them straight toward GOD's scouted base, instantly dropping the foundations for Scout Towers.
"This is... It's a Tower Push!" John immediately recognized the infamous cheese strategy. "By dragging peasants right up to the enemy perimeter and rushing defensive towers, you strangle their expansion step-by-step. But if the enemy spots it early, it's an instant GG!"
"This is a high-risk gamble that Human players use against Night Elves because the Elf early game is so fragile!" John explained to the audience. "It's a complete do-or-die play!"
The live venue went dead silent. Despite the players being inside soundproof booths, the crowd held its breath in suspense, terrified of somehow giving away the position. Meanwhile, every Warcraft player tuning in was stunned, a strategy like this actually existed?
"However, SKY made a critical error," John noted with a heavy sigh. "He was spotted by GOD's early scout. As an experienced pro, GOD is bound to perform a counter-scout sweep along that exact route. It's the standard defensive rotation."
"Look, GOD is sweeping the fog of war, playing it super cautiously. He's bound to catch it! SKY's peasants are right in his path, it's over!" John lamented.
On the game screen, a single Wisp glided through the fog of war. The incomplete Scout Towers weren't revealed, but a tiny red dot flashed on GOD's mini-map, marking the precise location of SKY's peasants.
"SKY is trying to fake him out by retreating the peasants immediately, but it's useless! His opponent is GOD, the man hailed as the god of RTS games! Did SKY seriously think GOD wouldn't notice a blip on the mini-map? Wait, what?! He actually missed it?!"
John, who had been mid-rant delivering his gloomy analysis, stared at the screen in utter disbelief. The Wisp glided right past without breaking the fog of war over the towers. GOD didn't alter his building queue at home whatsoever.
How am I supposed to cast this?! John thought frantically. He walked right past him and didn't see a thing?! This analysis is completely falling apart!
Watching the Wisp continue its casual patrol across the map to check if SKY was taking an expansion, John's eyes bulged. Beside him, Cooper turned to give John an incredibly bizarre look. Though Cooper didn't say a word, his expression clearly communicated: 'Boss John... did you hand him a rigged script before the match?'
Without a doubt, GOD failed to detect SKY's proxy towers until he was completely walled in. He couldn't push out of his own front gate, let alone set up an expansion.
On SKY's end, the proxy towers locked GOD down while SKY freely took a secondary gold mine. If GOD tried to attack the mine, the tower line advanced. If GOD tried to break the tower line, the mine continued pumping out resources.
Realizing there was zero hope for a comeback, GOD tapped out with a GG. SKY took a 2–0 lead, instantly reaching match point! The entire venue and live chat erupted into madness.
"We have to believe in science!" John blurted out, desperately defending his reputation. "This has nothing to do with me! Did his god-mode just get revoked?!" John was almost starting to doubt reality himself. Could this really be a pre-arranged script set up by Armani to generate viral commentary clips? The timing was just too absurd!
"Ahem... anyway, huge congratulations to SKY for securing match point," John cleared his throat, trying to regain his professional composure. "He has a massive chance to close out the series now. That said, GOD might be suffering a mental tilt after missing such obvious mini-map information earlier."
Despite John's rational recovery, the live broadcast chat was overwhelmed by a tsunami of scrolling comments:
"It's over! SKY is doomed!"
"First he jinxes GOD, now he's jinxing SKY? Since when did Boss John learn the art of double-jinxing?!"
"Shut your mouth, John! Don't jinx SKY, keep jinxing GOD!"
Ignoring the chaos in the chat, John continued his structured breakdown on stream while Cooper chimed in beside him.
"The momentum is fully behind SKY now! Is he really about to sweep GOD 3–0? Was SKY hiding his true power all along?! He's holding a 20-supply lead; this is the first time in the entire series SKY has pulled ahead in both supply and economy!"
"A new champion is about to be crowned today! SKY is on the verge of victory! His Knights are charging straight in, GOD is pulling back!"
As the clash escalated, SKY held total control over the field, prompting John to raise his voice in excitement.
"Boss John, let's keep it down a bit! GOD still has a fighting chance!" Cooper warned nervously, visibly terrified of John's commentary curse.
"Mr. Cooper, we must trust in science! How could he possibly lose from this position?!" John shouted enthusiastically. "SKY's army is relentless! GOD's Demon Hunter is still farming creeping camps without a Town Portal scroll. SKY has this in the bag! GOD is at a massive disadvantage! His formation is shattered! He's forced to retreat into the narrow valley! GOD is backed against the wall! He clicks on the Moon Well, wait, did that Moon Well just save him?! GOD WON THE CLASH?!"
Watching GOD's Demon Hunter barely survive thanks to Moon Well healing before his main force arrived to force SKY into wasting a Town Portal scroll, John stared wide-eyed at the monitor. How did he even turn that around?!
"Ahem... Boss John, why don't you try praising GOD for a bit?" Cooper coughed softly, his expression a mix of secondhand embarrassment and anxiety.
"Mr. Cooper, science! We have to believe in science!" John insisted stubbornly. "That was strictly an anomaly! Metaphysics doesn't exist in esports! Now that GOD leads in both supply and economy, is it even possible for me to cast a SKY comeback? It's mathematically impossible! Look at this, GOD is mobilizing his entire army for a decisive push down mid to flatten SKY's base, while SKY secretly sneaks away four Siege Tanks and a small squad to the flank. Is he attempting a base race?"
John picked apart the tactical layout, shaking his head in pity. "How can a base race possibly work here?! Human players can only defend with front-line towers; splitting your army to base-race completely destroys your defensive power! SKY's four tanks can't match the siege speed of GOD's entire main army, plus GOD still has a Town Portal scroll ready. The second those tanks reach his base, he can just portal back and obliterate them!"
"Wait, GOD isn't portaling back! He's committing to the base race! His army holds an absolute supply advantage, but SKY's tanks are shredding buildings fast!" John's voice spiked with tension again. "Pay attention to SKY's micro, he pulled a single peasant off the front lines to construct an isolated Farm deep in the woods on the edge of the map! Is he trying to stall time during the base race?! But there's no way GOD didn't spot that! It was built right under his nose! SKY's main Keep has been completely demolished!"
"Wait, what is happening?!" John yelled, completely flabbergasted. "Why isn't GOD attacking that isolated Farm?! If he destroys that Farm, he wins instantly! Did he seriously not see it?! Hey, don't teleport back to your base now! There's a Farm right next to you, just hit it! Don't go back! It's too late!"
John was losing his mind. What on earth is going on in this game?!
"Don't portal back! You can't stop the tank push now!" John wailed into his microphone.
As the blue glow of the Town Portal scroll faded, the final low-HP Siege Tank fired one last shell into the Night Elf main base.
BOOM! Every single structure in GOD's base collapsed into rubble.
At that exact moment, the fog of war cleared across the entire map. Seeing SKY's single, solitary Farm standing peacefully beside the tree line, GOD stared at his screen with a look of pure, bewildered despair. Why hadn't he seen that Farm?! Why did he choose to base race?! If he had just cleared that one farm, or portaled back five seconds earlier to destroy the tanks, he would have won!
On the player stage, SKY ripped off his headset, slamming his fist onto his desk in absolute ecstasy. He accidentally knocked his monitor over in the celebration, quickly picking it back up with a sheepish grin toward the camera lens.
Back at the desk, John covered his mouth with one hand, his face red with absolute embarrassment. Next to him, Cooper uttered a few brief words of congratulations to SKY for winning the championship before falling completely silent, unsure of what else could possibly be said. Sometimes, reality really is just that metaphysical.
Over on the PixelPioneers stream on Social Tap, millions of viewers were practically dying of laughter. The chat exploded into an endless waterfall of text, eventually coalescing into a single, synchronized meme led by a high-tier subscriber:
'Boss John, your jinxes are god-tier!'
