Standing in front of the tall office building stood a nervous but excited me, Emily Watson as I walked in and greeted all the staffs warmly even those that gave me disgusting looks probably due to the thrifty clothes I had on but despite that I held my head high. Finally I was standing in front of Tyler Wayne himself. I bowed as a sign of respect and greeted him.
"Good morning sir" I said and stayed quiet waiting for a reply.
He kept quiet, scanning all my features. He kept his poker face on making him unreadable. In the heat of the silence my eyes traced the contours of his chiseled face. His jawline, sharp and defined, held a hint of mystery. My gaze lingered on the curve of his lips, wondering what secrets they held. His eyes, deep and intense, seemed to hold the weight of unspoken emotions. He cleared his throat gaining my attention again. He offered me a seat and I sat down.
He began " what may I ask do you think makes you suitable for this position Ms. Watson".
I answered him back saying "not only do I need this opportunity I'm a great worker,hardworking and responsible".
Tyler speaks "so how much do you expect per hour". I replied
" I know it's a lot but if I can get 50 dollars per hour" I thought he'd be mad because that's a lot of money for a mere assistant. But to my surprise he agreed for twenty grand a month. My eyes widen I immediately got on my knees and thanked him. He didn't even take a glance at me all he said was
"my mansion first thing in the morning DON'T Disappoint me Ms. Watson".
He gave me a folder with all his schedule and personal stuff and his address. I bowed and left the office in joy. I was so happy I went home straight to tell my parents the wonderful news. Needless to say my parents were overwhelmed with joy. Later that night Sofie decided to take me out to a club to have some fun and celebrate my new job.
I and Sofie were having fun when Sofie's boyfriend Aiden walked up to us . Long story short Sofie went off with her boyfriend saying I should find someone. I drank continuously even though I was already heavily drunk. On the other hand unknown to me a pair of eyes never left me through out until a guy came up to me and tried to take advantage of me in my drunken state. He took a sip of his drink and walked over to me and held my arm. The guy backed off thinking he's my boyfriend.
"This is not a good impression Ms Emily". He said.
After sometime Sofie came back and on seeing Tyler she bowed and greeted him. Sofie helped me walk and took me back to home. She felt embarrassed for me hoping that I probably won't remember what happened when I wake up in the morning.
