Right before their eyes, the entire city had gone dark. Not a single light, no matter how far they looked into the horizon.
"Where is everyone?" Sophia wondered as all three of them felt that everyone in the city had vanished.
"Who knows... Let's go back to the castle first."
As the two of them followed Alex back into the castle, he quickly closed the balcony door before running downstairs.
"Alex, why are you running?"
Mary asked in confusion as they both caught up to him, only to see his face looking a little nervous.
"Something is off. You guys didn't notice all of their windows were shut earlier?"
Both girls thought back to what they had seen earlier and immediately joined Alex in closing all of the windows.
After frantically closing every single one in the hallway, they were beyond exhausted as they sat back in the living room.
"Alex, you know something, right?" Sophia asked, feeling something was seriously off after remembering he suggested leaving earlier.
