Chapter 126 - Chapter 33 [Volume 2]

Bran watched as his father welcomed a baby to the world, while his aunt lay dying.

"His name is Aegon Targaryen" she whispered with her last breath.

"Jon," Bran murmured.

He felt like he was being expelled from the memory and arrived at the white room, where he stood still for a few minutes to understand everything.

"Are you okay Bran? " He heard and looked back at Jon and Arya, his father had left the team last time.

"I don't want to see Jon, Not now."

They nodded, and he went to the computer.

Seeing his new ability calmed him down from the news, but he left the room without saying a word to his siblings.

"He was never a bastard, he's my cousin" he muttered.

[T/N: Now everyone can be sort of satisfied from the previous book.]

He left the place.

He headed to the tree where he always spent time with Meera. The Reed Brothers were waiting for him.

"Is something wrong?" Meera asked when she saw his face.

Bran shook his head.

He didn't want to think about that now.

Rickon meanwhile was facing three children of the forest, and seemed to stop all of their attacks without a problem, the boy hit their wrists forcing them to drop their weapons, hitting their blind spots with precision.

The children of the forest could not land a blow on him, but he landed all his own on them.

"Thunder Aura" he whispered.

His blade lit up with electric flashes and the boy hit the ground.

An electrical explosion threw the three children to the ground.

Rickon arrived at the white room.

"YES!" he exclaimed.

He happily headed to the computer.

Ned looked at Robb and nodded.

They had decided on the plan of attack.

Robb would return north to eliminate the traitorous Boltons and their allies. He would continue the war in the south and west.

"Dacey your sister stays with us, you support Robb, Jon you stay, and little Jon will go with Robb," he said.

The others nodded.

"Too bad, I wanted to massacre the Boltons, but I'll settle for the Lannisters," said the great Jon Umber with a laugh.

" Edmure is still angry about his wedding," Catelyn said.

"Well, he should calm down, it's his fault for leaving in the middle of the ceremony," said the black fish.

The woman sighed.

"Arya is still grounded, she won't go with anyone," the woman said.

The Umber burst into laughter.

"As if we could stop her, my lady," he said.

Catelyn sighed wearily.

If only her daughter were more obedient.

[T/N: I-I will not be mean to Catelyn, she is being better this time.]

The silence in the room was a clear fact to everyone else.

Daenerys sitting on a throne.

Jon next to her in a similar one.

At least the Targaryen changed her attitude towards the king of Valyria.

After a conversation with Sir Barristan.

Why hate each other?

On the one hand, she didn't forget that he was a Stark, well, a Snow who was loyal to Eddard Stark, who was one of those responsible for the fall of her family.

On the other hand, Sansa was fine and was his daughter.

And Aegon supported him.

She even learned from Sansa that Raenerys and Jon Snow have an intimate relationship.

Thinking about Raenerys made her curious, she received a description of her from Sansa Stark, but she still couldn't imagine her.

Beautiful without a doubt.

According to the description, but she couldn't see it completely in her mind.

' Maybe when I'm done with the slave cities, I could stop by Valyria to see her ' she thought with some hope.

Thinking of Valyria made her sneak a glance at the king.

She could see what Raenerys saw in him.

Attractive in her own opinion.

With a great leadership ability, he would never win two cities except by gaining the approval of her nephew, niece, and an experienced general like Jon Connington.

He also had magical powers.

No doubt, she saw them apart from Sansa and her impressive healing abilities, Jon Snow had faced some soldiers in training, the speed and strength with which he moved seemed inhuman, his sword was also imbued with magical powers, Daenerys saw in training where he froze the sandy ground of Astapor.

Many of the former slaves and Dothraki already looked at him as if he were some kind of god fallen from the sky.

Daenerys was more cautious.

She didn't trust magic.

Not after Qarth.

The only thing that really shocked her were her dragons, even Drogo who was the most rebellious was wary of Jon Snow.

On the one hand, the dragons did enjoy the company of Aegon and Sansa. They even let the Stark girl pet them, something she had never seen before.

Rhaegal on the other hand, seemed more comfortable with Aegon.

" Maybe she chose him as her knight," she thought.

She had heard the legends.

A dragon chooses its knight, the Targaryens had to incubate them themselves to be chosen by it, but there were cases where the dragon chose someone.

" Aegon's Dragon blood may be stronger than mine," she thought.

[T/N: Wait...if Jon is Aegon, then is Aegon the real imposter? Or were they a triplet?]

She felt uncomfortable, since a wedding between her and Aegon was possible.

Sansa would be the unlucky one.

This saddened her even though the girl was Eddard Stark's daughter.

Daenerys openly admitted that she liked Sansa, she even thought of her as a friend.

Why not do it?

She was the voice of reason in her and Jon Snow's differences.

She was the one who told her stories about the West.

She was the one who healed her wounded men, without asking for anything in return.

" The saint " as some called her.

She turned to see Jon saying something to Sir Jorah.

"The second sons and the storm ravens support Yunkai" Jorah replied.

"The second sons have at least five hundred riders," Jon said.

Jorah nodded.

"And the storm crows are about a hundred, but they are also accompanied by about two hundred lancers and at least three hundred swordsmen" he clarified.

"So Yunkai's defenses, if they join the slave soldiers, will be at least three thousand men strong," he said.

Jorah nodded.

"With my nine hundred men, we could face them safely, if we join forces it would be simpler, of course, I could bring a thousand more just in case," he said.

"The problem would be time, how long would it take them to get from Valyria?" Daenerys intervened.

"That won't be a problem," Jon said mysteriously.

Daenerys raised an eyebrow.

"So it all comes down to whether we attack together, or separately," Jon said.

Jorah nodded.

Sir Barristan was impartial, as was Grey Worm.

Daenerys looked curious.

"The difference would be the price of the attack, right?" she asked.

"Wars are not free," Aegon said, intervening.

"If Valyria attacks one city, and Astapor attacks the other, it would be no problem, Valyria keeps what it won, Astapor keeps what you won," said Jon.

"But we would have a waste of men, even if we have great warriors, we need to defeat the mercenaries and the only information we have is from Yunkai, not Meeren," Aegon said.

"What would be the negotiation to attack together?" asked Daenerys.

"If that were the case, you would hand over one of the cities to Valyria as payment for our help, and it would be part of our territories, otherwise, a compensation large enough to attack two cities full of mercenaries," said the king of Valyria.

"But you were planning to attack the cities from the beginning" Daenerys argued.

"Of course, and conquering them is a very different thing to taking them and leaving them to someone else, without receiving anything in return," he said.

Jorah nodded, as much as he didn't like Jon he had a point.

"What would be the compensation? Years of taxes? Laws? Resources? Marriage commitments? " she asked.

Jon looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

Danny raised her hands in defense.

"Don't look at me like that, King of Valyria, I was raised to be a princess, a noble, you can know beforehand that choosing a husband was not part of my life, I married a Dothraki for that reason, the idea is neither crazy, nor bad" she said.

"Of course not, but I think tax years are best" Sansa intervened.

The others saw her and she smiled with her classic, pure smile, like the saint that she was.

She totally relaxed the atmosphere.

"Gold then," she said.

"Volantis has plenty of gold, but Valyria has resources, the laws of Valyria should not interfere with Meeren or Yunkai, and although compromises are always good alliances, the families that the queen wins in the cities will not be trusted by Valyria, so money will be something effective for everyone," she said intelligently.

Daenerys turned to Jon.

He nodded.

"So, for five years, half of the taxes from both cities will be given to Valyria?" she said.

"More than enough," Sansa said.

Jon meanwhile remained silent.

"So water or land?" asked Sir Barristan.

"Both," Jon said.

Jon turned to Aegon.

"It's time you got some maritime experience," he said.

Aegon nodded.

A few days passed since they left Astapor, Jon left men to protect the city as well as Daenerys.

She looked intently at the king of Valyria who was leaving his tent.

"It's only a few hours until we're near the city," she said, approaching him.

Jon nodded and Jorah approached with Sir Barristan.

"Any idea when your men will arrive?" Jorah asked.

Jon nodded.

"Yes, it's about time... We left with a thousand men, right? " Jon asked.

Jorah nodded, somewhat confused.

Jon walked away a little, Daenerys was going to follow him but Sansa arrived to stop her.

"Do you want to see something interesting?" she asked her.

Daenerys looked at her curiously, but she was pointing at Jon.

Jon walked about fifty meters, across the sand, to where there were no soldiers and knelt down.

"Are you praying?" Daenerys asked.

"No, we pray to the old gods in front of the Weirwoods, the Southerners pray like that but not us" Jorah informed confused.

"Summon company of soldiers" Jon muttered.

The area lit up with artificial light, and Daenerys saw an entire company of soldiers appear, including swordsmen, spearmen, and archers, all armed.

"I believe thats a thousand soldiers" she muttered incredulously.

"While I heal, he summons soldiers, it's his ability" Sansa explained.

"That's useful," the girl admitted.

[T/N: Picture this, Jon sneaks into a city and spends a few hours summoning thousands of soldiers throughout the city so that once he wants it the city is almost instantly overtaken.]
