They were silent. Trevor raised his head for the first time since the conversation had begun. It was as though her words had finally brought out the truth she had been hiding for the past few weeks.
Trevor, not wanting to make the situation any more awkward than it already was, decided to say his final goodbye.
"Well, thank you for understanding what I am saying. I will be on my way now," Trevor said calmly as he gradually began to move toward the door. He would have really loved to stay, but there was simply no way he could remain any longer.
"Okay… thank you for all the company you have given me these past few days," Rose said softly as she hugged him very tightly, sobbing gently.
With that, Trevor finally left the house.
'Finally, the whole bread factory situation has been settled.' Although Trevor felt a mix of emotions, there was nothing much he could have done for her in the first place.
