"This… this…" North Kai was almost on the verge of tears. He wanted to stop Beerus, but it was indeed his poor hospitality, and he had also lost the game.
Before him stood the lofty God of Destruction. In the entire universe, who could possibly stop him?
Trying to reason with him would only bring trouble upon himself.
His North Kai's Planet was truly about to be finished…
At the side, Angel Whis simply watched quietly without speaking, maintaining his silence.
Anyway, North Kai's life wasn't at stake and North Kai's Planet wasn't truly going to be blown up. As long as it did not cross the bottom line, he would not interfere too much. After all, who can complain when the God of Destruction has that authority?
"Well then… it's settled. I still need to go to the Sacred World of the Kai next, so I won't delay any further. After all, there are still important matters to attend to. You should be glad that I keep my word; no matter what happens, I haven't broken our agreement."
Beerus spoke arrogantly as he prepared to make his move.
At that very moment, a ripple suddenly spread through the space behind him.
A sharp "whoosh~!!!" sound of air being torn apart rang out.
And in that instant, sensing Whis's location, Talot traversed space and arrived.
Noticing the spatial fluctuation behind him, Beerus paused mid-action. Beside him, Whis raised his brow in surprise.
All three pairs of eyes turned toward Talot.
"This really surprises me. I thought I would arrive directly at the God of Destruction's Planet. I didn't expect you, Whis, to have come to North Kai's Planet instead. So that means…" Seeing Whis, and then seeing God of Destruction Beerus, Talot briefly ignored Beerus, whom he was meeting for the first time, and spoke to Whis.
This sudden traversal to North Kai's Planet was an unexpected surprise. And seeing the current situation, Talot roughly realized what was going on.
Wasn't this just perfect timing?
"T-Talot?!" North Kai was equally astonished by Talot's arrival.
He had never expected that at such a critical moment, Talot would appear on his North Kai's Planet.
But very quickly, North Kai realized something was terribly wrong. His disciple from the future would likely suffer along with him this time!!
Coming from the future, interfering with the proper course of this timeline, and now appearing before the God of Destruction. How could Beerus possibly let him go?
And now, he did not dare tell Talot to run in front of Beerus and Whis.
"Oh? Interesting. A mortal from the mortal world crossing dimensions to arrive in the Other World, and even recognizing us." Beerus developed a strong interest in Talot. His gaze swept over Talot without restraint. As if noticing something, a trace of surprise flashed deep within his eyes.
"Boy! You are not someone from this timeline!" Beerus frowned tightly, a faint killing intent flickering in his eyes.
As the God of Destruction, his duty was to clean up certain useless planets and the negative energy spreading throughout the universe.
Additionally, any unstable factor that could threaten the future of this world fell within the scope of his destruction.
The Talot before him did not belong to their world. As the God of Destruction, he could not pretend not to see it.
"That's right. I'm not from this timeline. I come from more than five million years in the future," Talot said truthfully, not concealing his origins.
After all, he had come specifically to find the Whis of this timeline.
"A person from more than five million years in the future?" Upon hearing this, Beerus was greatly surprised. Then his tone shifted as he snorted coldly with a frown. "Boy, traveling through time is a grave crime. You shouldn't be here, and you certainly shouldn't have appeared before me. Therefore, you are seeking your own death."
Beerus's words carried a thick killing intent, reminding Talot that he would not escape this time.
"Of course I know that traveling through time is a grave crime, but I came to this timeline with permission," Talot replied, unwilling to become enemies with Beerus, as his strength was far inferior to that of the God of Destruction.
As he spoke, he directly mobilized that trace of Angel power deep within his soul.
That faint Angel power radiated from Talot's forehead, forming ripples in the surrounding space.
At first, Beerus paid it no mind. But when he sensed that this power belonged to Angel Whis, his eyes suddenly widened, and he was completely stunned.
This was… Whis's power?
This brat actually carried Whis's power within him.
So the one who permitted him to travel through time… was the Whis standing beside him?
Beerus turned his head with a shocked expression, his small eyes staring straight at Whis, as if saying, you'd better give me a reasonable explanation.
At this moment, Whis could only smile awkwardly, indicating that he himself did not know what was going on. After all, as for what the future more than five million years later looked like, he would have to contact his counterpart in that timeline to find out.
However, even though Talot had made it clear that his time travel was authorized by the Whis of that timeline, Beerus still had no intention of letting him off.
Beerus could sense that within Talot's body were two extremely powerful forces. One was his own power, and the other was God Ki.
Since this brat from the future has obtained the recognition of that world's Whis, it meant that he was very likely a future candidate for Universe 7's God of Destruction.
"Come to think of it, this is also my first time meeting you, God of Destruction Beerus," Talot said to Beerus after clarifying his purpose.
This was, in a sense, a way of getting closer.
Even though this was Beerus from more than five million years ago, he was still Beerus.
To be honest, that invisible sense of oppression was something that God of Destruction Champa back then simply could not compare to.
"First time meeting? So in your era, I'm still sleeping?" Beerus asked with a hint of interest.
"Yes. In my timeline, you are still asleep. Now that I see you in person, you are indeed extraordinary. At the very least, your aura and presence are far beyond what the God of Destruction Champa from the neighboring universe can compare to," Talot deliberately brought up the future God of Destruction Champa in front of Beerus.
Upon hearing this, Beerus immediately perked up and found it quite interesting. He asked Talot, "Brat, you've even met that fatty Champa?"
